Got mine today, easy assembly. 66 in. X 56 in (the "L" Shape) X 29.5 in (Height) are the "real" useful dimensions. Fits well with my little study (108 sq ft, square shaped). If you have a desktop, the caddy can hold your CPU. However, as a laptop user, I would prefer a matching cabin with two or three drawers instead of the caddy.

Read numerous reviews before purchasing this desk. Total time to assemble was about right (2 hours with one person taking their time.) Desk is sturdy and large enough for most people to do both daily and work tasks easily (Which is why I bought mine). One thing that I should have expected from one review is also correct. I am a smoker, and 3 days after assembling this desk an ash landed on the top and burned/melted a small part of it. It is a vinyl type wood veneer so be aware of that if you smoke. Other than that it is an excellent desk and I am happy to have it. Would buy again for the price it is hard to match. The mobile CPU stand is also nice and a bonus as you can put it anywhere you like.

This desk is replacing a desk that I built ten years ago (2000) out of particle board and 2x4s. That desk is still in great condition, but it looks exactly like a desk that was built out of 2x4s and particle board. I bought the L-shaped desk from Overstock for $****USD (shipped!) and couldn't be happier. It looks nice, has a lot of space and supports everything I needed and wanted out of a new desk. I have a 25" widescreen monitor sitting next to a 15.6" laptop. To the right of that I have my computer speakers sitting on the raised platform and surrounded by random electronics (camera, lens, psp, mp3 player, etc...) Continuing on the L, I have a stack of papers, a desk organizer, CDs and a drink :) There is still plenty of room to work on the desk. From the dimensions, the desk seems thin, and it is. However, it makes up for itself with the L-shape which gives you that sprawling feeling I mentioned in the sentences above. It took my wife and I about an hour to piece together my desk. After I had it setup, she commented on how she disliked her setup. The next afternoon she mention that she bought herself one, and at $250 after shipping, who wouldn't! As you can tell, we like the desk. Pros - easy to setup - nice clean design - contemporary dark cherry wood and silver color - companion tray for desktop (or subwoofer for speakers) - lots of room for your stuff Cons - can't sustain too much weight - probably not too resilient to scratches - keyboard slider is a bit shallow (depth)

I needed a desk that had a fairly descent amount of room; I have a 32" monitor. This desk is a great size and doesn't look or feel cheap. It is substantial in weight, but not too heavy and although it isn't "real wood" it looks pretty good. I say that meaning it's covering is veneer and not an actual stained wood.This went together really quickly. It took me 2.3 hours, but that was only because I was using the tools (screw driver and wrench) that came with it. Every piece is actually screwed together and not just a little wood knob slipped into a hole like cheaper "put together yourself" desks. Someone who has an electric screwdriver could easily put this together in an hour.Again, this amount of desk for the price is a great value.

This desk is very good looking, sturdy, and not hard to put together. BUT, I definately HIGHLY recommend that you have an electric screw driver--this thing has about 100 screws!! If you have patience, follow the directions closely, you will end up with a terrific desk that has ample workspace! I did not attach the keyboard tray (I hate them, always knocking my knees on them) so I saved myself quite a few steps...

This cost more than I originally wanted to spend but I'm glad I did. I love the design and it fits well into the corner of our basement. My husband - who is slightly DIY challenged - had constructed furniture before with lots of angry shouts and hitting of hammers - assembled the desk, quietly and orderly in about an hour and a half! Granted, there aren't any drawers - which proved too difficult for him in the past (he never got them right) but it was assembled without incident and it looks great!

The desk is great. Sturdy construction, easy to put together, it's great. The only thing I can complain about is that the pole that supports the middle section of the desk (the joint of the L shape) doesn't reach the ground. I can't get it any closer than like half an inch away from the ground. I had to put a piece of wood under it to secure it. Other than that, this is the best desk I've ever owned, hands down.

The cart to hold the computer has been very useful. It is nice to be able to rotate the computer with ease and without having to lift it. The cart fits my full size computer case. I have had the seek for a month. The desk is still in the same condition in which it arrived, which is the same as in the picture. The packaging was well done to prevent any damage. The keyboard shelf is high enough to be comfortable for me. I am 6'2

The desk is quite useful if you are setting up your home office. I have a laptop, an extended 22 inch monitor and another PC on the desk. It is extremely light weight, and very utilitarian. I'm happy so far (20 days of using the desk).

This desk is substantial. It weighs @ 150 lbs and comes in 2 cartons. The packaging prevented UPS shipping damage, even though the cartons showed some external damage. Too new to know if the finish will hold up to day-to-day use. Am happy with the purchase.

I work from home quite often, so wanted an L-shaped desk where I could have my work setup on one side, and my home PC on the other. This is the perfect setup. I like the working space this desk offers - it is enough space to be able to spread out and have any notebooks, papers, etc., without feeling terribly cluttered. On the flip side, all the space means I tend to leave more junk on the desk, but that's my own laziness. I agree with a previous comment about the keyboard tray being not large enough to comfortable fit a keyboard, mouse pad, and mouse, but it works fine for me since I'm using a smaller, wireless mouse. One part was missing when I received the desk, but it shipped within a few days to me without any issue. Overall, I am very happy with the desk. The only con would be the lack of hidden storage [i.e. drawers, etc], but I knew that when I bought it. I have my file cabinet underneath the section that connects both parts of the 'L', and it fits perfectly.

A Good work surface for someone who needs alot of space to spread out with a limited amount of floor space. The corner unit is ideal. It is wide and deep and provides plenty of room for hardware and writing surface. It was easy to assemble. The instrutions were accurate and clearly written to make them easy to follow. It took about 3 hours to assemble, but it is sturdy and good looking.

The desk is sturdy, nice looking and was relatively easy to assemble. I was very impressed with the quality of the design and hardware. There were a couple of places in the directions that could have been clearer, but overall, this was, and is another great Overstock experience.

This is a great desk for my high-school student. There is ample room for the computer, screen, etc, as well as plenty of room to spread out his papers and books. It's of solid construction and looks nice in his room. For the price, it's a good deal.

This is a good looking desk, compact in size but with plenty of space. I run two separate businesses from this nerve center, and it is perfect. The keyboard tray is sturdy, and stays where you put it without sliding around. Love that. The rounded ends made cord control so much easier without having to make a hole to fish everything through. The CPU cart could have been a tiny bit bigger, then I could have used it for more than my CPU, but standing on edge I can fit a power strip on the shelf with my box, so life is good. Great Desk for a small office!

This comes in two boxes and when completed, you may feel a bit like you just got out of arts and craft class. Assembly takes around three hours. The parts fit together real well. Sometimes, with assemble it yourself furniture the parts barely fit, but not the case here. It takes three hours because there are a lot of parts, keeping in mind this is really two desks in one. This fits well in my 12x10 office taking up around a third of the room. Glad I bought it.

I purchased this as a gift for my husband so he could create his own cozy "computer" corner in our bedroom. Of all the products we've purchased at Overstock, this would be the most time-consuming in terms of assembly as it had the most number of screws. A power drill REALLY helps. It took him about 3 hours to assemble it by himself. He has a large CPU, so the CPU caddy was about an inch short in length, but the width was just perfect. The caddy has wheels so you can place it anywhere under the table. Although I would've preferred some storage space as it had none, our small cabinet fit perfectly under the desk. The color seems a bit darker than it appears on the photo, but I wasn't disappointed - the bold, rich color is absolutely gorgeous and does make the room appear cozy. We've only had it for about a week, so I can't attest in all honesty to the quality but so far, it seems very sturdy and stable on our carpet. Overall, I am pleased with the quality and appearance. The only downside is that the assembly instructions were a bit confusing, even to my husband who has assembled furniture many times over for family and friends.

This is a great piece of furniture. Very sturdy, wasn't hard to put together. The only two draw backs were the laminate (you could tell at the bolt holes it wasn't completely glued down well, has the potential to bubble in the future) and it would be great if it could be reversible, meaning the longer and shorter side could be swapped. It can only be put together as pictured, which was fine for us but would have been better use of our space if we could have changed it. However we are very happy with our purchase. Because this was a pricier purchase we decided to become O Club members at the same time. Glad we did!!
