This arrived last week. It took me about an hour to put together. It's the perfect size for a hidden bar. You can roll it around or place it over in the corner. Great conversation piece. One leg was damaged and the bottom shelf was damaged when I received it, still waiting on info from overstock if they are going to replace the pieces.

The appearance is great- it compliments the furnature well. It was a bit difficult to put together, but overall, it's a great addition. We only wish the globe would be made out of real wood.

This Globe is preety qood. I do not like that it is really big... but if you have a lot of space in your hose than it is ok. But it is fun and pleasant to have it in iur house.

The Globe Bar looks really nice and appears to be sturdy. The main problem is the size of the "inside" section where you store the liquor bottles. You really can't fit that many liquor bottles (more than 3) in this center section and you definitely can't fit anything more than a soda cans on the outter inner section. So it isn't as useful as you may want it to be. They could have designed that part better or at least gave those dimensions instead of just the outter dimensions.

Very pleased with Globe. I was worried due to 1 so so review someone left, but I am completely satisified. Granted it is not the super expensive hand painted version, but it is beautiful. It is really done well. It was a gift for my husband and he loves it.

Shipping and arrival was fast. Upon opening the box I was disappointed. Legs are solid wood. Bottom shelves and other parts are a composite. Some of the stickers on the globe do not completely meet. I removed the casters and the look improved. It took about 15 minutes to assemble. Thought about sending it back but it looks ok and to get what I had in my "minds eye" would be much more than I want to spend. It does have a good bit of room under the globe. I described it to our friends and when they saw it they said it was much better than they envisioned from my description. I would say if you buy it just be aware you are not getting a family heirloom. I have no problems with overstock. I thought it was only fair to say it is average overall. After all it is cool to have a globe bar in our library!

While not as functional as I hoped, this is a beautiful conversation piece that sits well in an out of the way corner in my small dining room. For an "old world" look, I would like to have less sheen to the overall finish.
