Initially this hammoch would not fit on the stand (as shown in the Overstock picture.... You have to work at stretching the hammock, since it is VERY short when it comes out of the box. The weave is uneven - there are some mistakes in it which create larger-than-normal holes in some spots. I suppose for the money it is not bad, but I would suggest that you spend a little more and get something better. I shop a lot at Overstock and am not usually disappointed. With this purchase, I am. I cannot attest to durability - I have not had it long enough yet!

I forgot that I had bought this from overstock. It lasted for years, we sold it at a yard sale when we moved and got a good price for it.

It's hanging between 2 trees in the yard right now, supporting 2 kids and their books (OK - their Nintendo DS's). We aren't as good about bringing it into the house (when it rains) as we should be, and it appears to be FINE. We have brought it in for the winter (of course) - but second summer with a fair amount of rain, and the kids are still zooey about it. Husband took a nap in it for Fathers day. Neighbors have been known to be found snoozing in it too. If you have the ability to put in a hammock - DO IT!

I like it alot!! It was much more softer then I thought it would be. Needed to tighten the ends up a few times, woring it in. I find the quality to be worth the money !!

The best hammock we have ever had, disappears into the background, fits two easily, and does not stretch to the ground with two adults! Love it!

Awesome purchase!! Thought the material would be rough, but very soft to the touch. Stretches at first, but easy to adjust. Really looks great too.

My husband & I love this we can both lay out on it at the same time. Its very cuffy! :) Good pick!

The Hammock is great! It's great for a moment of relaxation for my husband and I, and it's sturdy. My 2 little boys play on it constantly. The only issue I had was the S hooks were too big to fit into the chain links when attempting to hang it, but that was a quick and inexpensive fix! All in all, we are very happy!

I am very happy with the hammock, it came quickly and was just like the description, actually I expected it to be scratchy because it is synthetic but it feels like cotton.

I was happy with the hammock itself. I hooked it up to a stand-alone steel hammock frame. The ends of the hammock would not directly hook onto the hammock frame because the hammock wasn't long enough. The direction indicated to use "the chains that came with the hammock OR frame"...unfortunately neither my hammock nor frame came with chains. I was able to buy some at a hardware store, but it would have been nice if they were included.

I was a bit disappointed to receive only the hammock, as the photo includes the hammock and the stand. Bait and switch?! Of course the price was low...

A good quality product at a very reasonable price. Like most poly hammocks, needs to be stretched, used, repeat, repeat until it reaches its final operating length. Once there, quite comfortable.

A bit harder to climb in/out of than the "cocoon" style hammock...and it stretched quite a bit over the first usages. But now it's stable and everyone really likes it! The grandkids climb in for their naps (we have it on the screen porch under a ceiling fan, so the air movement is nice) and my husband likes to rest there after working in the garden. It's definitely worth the money! Another good job, overstock.com!

Love the hammock. Very comfortable and relaxing. No better way to shop for price and convenience than overstock.com.

As we have not used the hammock yet, I am very pleased with the appearance and quality of this product. Are taking this to our lakehouse on vacation and are looking forward to lazy days under a tree reading a book.

Our previous hammock was polypropylene, which is a sturdier material than polyester but scratchy. It had survived over 10 years but had finally fallen apart. I doubt this one will last as long, but it's much softer--and much less expensive. Also a bit stretchier. Some of the reviews had said that this was a Pawley's Island brand, which had influenced me to buy it--but it was not. No problem--the rope is the same thickness as our previous hammock with as many strands across. A great price: I think we will get our money's worth. Only 4 stars because it was advertised as having oak spreader bars and they definitely are not oak. They seem sturdy enough but are a varnished nondescript wood. The hammock is made in India.

Works as it should, needs to be tightened/stretched after initial uses to stay taught, normal for a new hammock.

Originally I had a cotton hammock and I loved it. I had left it out and it wrotted. I saw this one and thought that it wouldn't be what I really wanted, but decided to buy it any way because of the value. I received it in three days and I love it. You can't tell any difference in the feel of material. What a great bargain.

This hammock is outside at our cabin all the time, and is PERFECT. It looks good, is sturdy and is very well made.
