I relied strictly on the reviews before purchasing this product and everyone was right. This is a good product and definitely beats one of the smaller, battery operated shavers. I'd purchased two in the past only to end up frustrated. This product is corded therefore battery-life is not a concerning factor. The shaver is wider than most, allowing for more coverage. While the shaving experience isn't automatic (meaning it takes longer than one or two minutes to shave a whole sweater), the results are faster. Just be prepared to empty the lint trap a time or three during the process. I've found keeping a bag or trash can nearby to be helpful. As one reviewer mentioned, it doesn't make your clothing look brand new but it is a close second place!

I was really skeptical I'm not gonna lie. But, I hated to just throw away the clothes that had accumulated lint balls from years of use and washing all though I knew I'd never wear them looking like that. My North Face jacket was one of the peices of clothing that I just stopped wearing because where my arm rubbed my side there were hundreds of little balls. So, I broke down and bought this shaver. I used it and OH MY GOODNESS it really worked!!!!! Yay! I have been going through my children's and my husband's closets and using the shaver anywhere I see a fabric ball:) I love this shaver.

I have used a pilling/shaving machine before (smaller battery operated), I had no hope for success to shave this amount of dirty pilling (from small ball like to 2 cm long threads) on the family room loveseat and couch which is used by two teens, a dog and a cat. We bought a light tan with a heavy duty fabric about 3 years ago. My husband and I were talking about options and cost to reupholster at least the cushions. The pilling and dirt on the cushions and arms were embarrassing. The furniture looks like a ten year old set. We had tried washing, pulling the threads, I even tried scissors... I decided to try out this machine as a last hope. I am so glad I did! "Our furniture looks brand new, it is all it claims to be". The whole family was amazed by its instant performance, it is crisp, tight and clean looking. I am considering of buying another to store away.

So you obviously have clothing that you are self conscious about wearing because it looks worn, has pulls, pills, whatever. This thing really does improve the appearance of such clothing and is well worth the price. If you salvage even one sweater, it's paid for itself. I used it on the corner of my couch where the cat scratched the crap out of the material and it looked WAY better. Don't press too hard, especially if there's a big tug in the material.

This clothes shaver really works! It has enough power to shave a couch, yet was gentle on my sweaters. It looks as though it might be heavy, but it is not. It's very easy to manage. I needed one that was strong enough to de-pill my couch, and this did the trick while also making my favorite sweater look presentable again! I like that it has electrical power so I can always count on it working at the same speed.

The shaver did a great job of removing fuzzies from sweaters! The bin is small and does fill up quickly, but it was easy to use. I had to go over some areas several times to get everything removed, but I am very pleased with the purchase. I tried the larger brush and can't say I really noticed a difference, but I never really have with those. The clothes shaver is a great buy though!

Works great! It plugs in and also comes with two lint brushes. Love it!!

I used this shaver on a wool coat that I've had for several years. I had to use the shaver three times and really work it to get those years of pills removed from my coat. It worked a little more easily on my sweater, probably because there wasn't quite as much build up. Overall, I'm glad that I bought it. My clothes look much better.

The shaver works well, only issue is that when the fuzz is very thin it tends to blow back out the vents in the side of the catcher. The lint brushes work very well.

I WASN'T REALLY EXPECTING MUCH BUT WAS SURPRISED TO FIND IT REALLY WORKED. IT TOOK A WHILE TO LEARN HOW TO STRETCH THE FABRIC AND HOW MUCH PRESSURE TO PUT ON TO GET RID OF THE LINT AND PILLS. IT SAVED ME FROM THROWING A FEW ITEMS OUT.

Bought this for my wife who was using a little battery clothes shaver for her sweaters. She loves it, just be carful and not press too hard on the fabric or you'll take away more than the fuzz.

I was a total skeptic. After reading the reviews from people, I thought it was too good to be true, especially after the few who said it ruined their clothing. The only thing I can think of is they used it on that cheap, grabby material. This is the best sweater shaver I've used or seen. I'm thrilled with it! I started off using it very cautiously, but there was no need for that! It works great on cashmere! I gave it an overall of 4 stars because I haven't had it that long and I'm not sure about the durability, but it seems pretty solid. I might have to buy a back-up!
