i was looking for a garbage can of a very specific size to fit next to a cabinet in my kitchen. This one is a perfect fit though I wish it were a few inches taller. It's very sturdy heavy metal. I think it will hold up very well in the long haul. The pedal works well. My kids don't like that you have to push the lid back down if you push the pedal all the way to the floor. But that is nice for changing the bags. All in all a very attractive can in a cool color. There are two lift up bars inside that grab the bag. I'd give it five stars if it was slightly easier to change the bags but I'm getting used to the procedure.
