I chose to purchase this item b/c it looked beautiful on the website, yet when it arrived I was just slightly disappointed b/c I was hoping for something larger. Well that's my mistake, otherwise the exterior flower carvings are very unique. I just wish that it was painted w/a clearer paint b/c it leaves a tiny bit of film each time I open it, as if the paint isn't completely dry yet. Otherwise it's attractive to one's eyes.

The artwork and overall construction of the box is very well done... The Size... is not useful whatsoever. I made the mistake of thinking this was the size of a hope chest...

The chest came with a crack in the top, it was small for the price. Not a ver y good buy.
