i love the bench, got a new bed and it is very tall so i needed something that my little dog could jump up on also and get on the bed, it works great for her and me too, i use it to put my extra sheets in and it holds several king size sets i looked at many benches before i bought this one and iam really glad with my decision, would recommend this to someone who is looking for a nice bench to put at the end of bed or i could see using as a piano bench

The item arrived within 5 days, and there was no damage to the packaging. The only assembly required is screwing the legs to the bench. All materials were included, but since I buy things that need to be assembled, and don't like to deal with the tiresome Allen key that comes with most pre-assembled items. I got the kit from a large home improvement store for less than 10 bucks, and recommend that O shoppers pick up a kit also. The storage area is about five inches in depth. This is fine for me, because I use the bench in my entryway to sit on when changing shoes. Although I do think it would be more useful to have a deeper storage space and shorter legs. The seat cushion is comfortable, and would work fine as seating on a regular basis.

Got here fast, and was able to track it. Went together very easy. Sits under my front window for the dogs to sit on and bark at passing people and an extra bench if needed.

I bought to be a piano bench. Did not want typical wooden bench. Wanted something to keep the room 'warm'. Will also used as extra seating when we have gatherings. Happy with our purchase.

I received this within 10 days of ordering. The box arrived slightly damaged but I wasn't home when it arrived. I inspected everything and determined it was in good condition. I was able to bring the box in by myself and put it together by myself. It was super easy...just install 8 bolts using the supplied Allen wrench. I recommend turning the bench on one side, inserting the legs, then standing the bench up in the legs then installing the bolts. It took me about 15 minutes from opening the box to being able to use the bench. It took me weeks to decide to buy this because I wasn't sure I could trust the colors in the images since there was no description. The background color is wheat and linen like. There are four other colors and each color is a different weave...some are chenille-like. Colors are: Chocolate brown, orange, a red that is more wine-like, an olive-y gold, and a cocoa or lighter brown color. It has a very neutral but definite autumnal feel which for my use is perfect. The legs are a dark stained walnut with a bit of redness. There are two hinges so it'll stay open. It is plenty of storage room for a tray and a thrown blanket as well as remotes if needed. All in all...a great piece for the money.

The bench we received was very attractive and seemed to be good quality, except that both springs in the hinges broke on the very first day. The springs keep the storage bench from closing too quickly so it isn't necessary to have them, and since we don't intend to open the bench anyway and use the storage it really made no difference to us, but if having a bench that doesn't slam closed is important to you then look for another bench.

I'm very happy with this bench. Very well made with details like inside lining for the storage space. Sturdy yet not too heavy. Fabric is good quality with rich color. I ordered 2 for my dining nook. Very happy with them.
