I was hesitant about buying this sword, but at the price I thought I couldn't pass it by. The sword is handmade and excellent craftmanship was put into making it. I looked up the history of the makers of the sword. The Longquan Sword has been made in China for several generations and has been presented to people as a gift of friendship and loyalty. President Nixon was presented one of these swords when he visited China. All I can say is that anyone who purchases swords know that this sword is worth $250.00 to $350.00 at any dealer who sells martial arts weapons and collectable artifacts. The sword is made very well and the case it comes in is ideal for showing off or displaying for others to see. Right now I'm thinking of buying a couple more for gifts to my other friends. Anyone recieving this will be pleased with it.

For the price it's worth it. The box that the sword came in was broken to begin with and one of the biggest issues was that the civer to the sword did not fit right. It slipped off very easy.

Oh my this is simply stunning; bamboo vase is a beautiful burgundy/red & not heavy at all. Since one does have to arrange the floral parts, it helps to be a bit crafty. This is a unique floral arrangement that announces its classy presence. My tips: read instructions all the way through. Have a spray bottle near with a knife to cut the foam if wanted, I cut only one corner of the green foam & surrounded it with paper towels under the rim of the vase. Lightly spray each bloom individually starting from outside (smallest bloom) working down to the first. I dampened all the floral parts and set aside before arranging. Leave the green moss in the baggie & squirt water into the bag to make it more pliable when used at the end of arranging, it will be enough as the moss only goes in the back with a little on the sides. Once the sword blooms are dampened you can lightly push the blooms to a more open look quite easily with your fingers without breaking them. The single white Magnolia looks best in the very front & it also needs dampened. Don't forget to dampen the blossoms once a month. Outstanding piece of art!

I ordered the product on a Friday evening a received the product on the following Wednesday. The product perfectly matched the online photos shown. I read one other review that mentioned the "color" was a darker color than displayed on the photos.....I found the swords to be of a brillant red orange color exactly matching the online photos....I am very satisfied with this product the quality exceeds the price paid by far!

Absolutely great sword! It is sharp and is full tang. It has a nice balance to it as well. The box was very nice to. I can't believe the price. This is a steal. It could be a high end sword.

For what you pay, this is a good buy, however there are some details that are NOT correct in the description. I just finished dissasembling mine and heres what I found- Yes, it is full tang, but it has only one pin and the blade is glued in. The tang is extremely rough and unfinished. It's a tight fit because the grip is hammered on. I needed to take mine apart because the fittings were loose and I wanted to see the quality of construction. The sword has a fake wire-brushed "Hamon". It is supposed to be differentially hardened, but the fake hamon covers the real one if it has one. I think I might be able to see a little of it in a tiny spot on the blade. I do not see any evidence of the sword being made of folded steel. There are no layers or patterns at all. The blade is also not very sharp. It doesn't slice paper. It does feel very heavy and solid. The surface and polish of the blade is good. The scabbard is well made. Overall I would say it's a great buy for the price, just know what you are getting. Looks like a strong blade but the fittings are cheap.

Midcentury modern refers to the time period between 1930 and 1965 when designers and architects began focusing on simple yet creative design. It was during this period that famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright experimented with organic architecture, building some of his most well-known homes and using scenery to inspire innovative designs. Some of the most recognizable furniture was also designed during this time period. From the Eames lounge chair to the slender tulip chair, the midcentury movement produced pieces that are still staples in modern homes. To get the midcentury look in your own home, Read More
