Nice quality, looks and functionality and easy to assemble. Would rate excellent if the top revolved (it doesn't).

First, the item was delivered promptly, it is a "silent" clock as the manufacturer claims (it is in a bedroom and I didn't want to hear it tick), it is stylish and attractive and looks nice on the large bedroom wall where it is placed. I would have given this clock a better rating except the quality of the item as pertains to how it is made, versus the cost expended, just doesn't seem worth it. The clock was **** plus, the large face is obviously fiber board, maybe a glass cover would have helped, but it does not have a glass cover. The "brass" trim around the edge and the hands of the clock, are also just painted gold plastic. Two of the four plastic gold painted things on the clock which simulate fasteners on the face of the clock, were crooked. One of them I was able to straighten manually, the other, and right on top, is firmly fixed and is crooked which makes the clock look slightly askew. If I had seen this clock prior to purchase I would never have bought it for ****...perhaps I may have purchased it for half that price. Similar fiber board faced large clocks are available in the *** to **** range elsewhere, but I did particularly like the size, design and coloration of this one.

It is MDF and I don't care how high you hang it or how far away, it is still MDF. Reviews were good. They must have had vision problems. I loved the look of the clock and the design. But It is CHEAP and the pendulum looks like the top of a tomato soup can spray painted to look like brass. Think I'm kidding. Order one of these and see how bad shopping online can be sometimes. I rated the value of this excellent. Purchase price and free shipping seemed fair for this. And I rated the style excellent because it was just what I was looking for. But I got way less than I paid for and this clock is going back.

I purchased this fireplace as a Christmas gift. I gave the gift early so the recipients could enjoy it for the holiday season. I was very pleased with the appearance and ease of mounting. Instructions were included. The fireplace creates a wonderful ambiance and glow. I also like the fact that you have the option to burn 1 to 3 gel fuel cans. It comes equipped with a one piece 3 fuel can snuffer so the fire can be easily extinguished without having to use tongs to place the lid on the flaming fuel cans. I would recommend this fireplace to anyone. Overstock has the best price on this piece. I surfed the web to compare prices. Also, Overstock's low shipping rate is a plus.

We wanted a tree that didn't have a large base to fit a smaller space and one with a rustic feel; nothing typical. I wanted a tree that had flocking and I love the pinecones. I didn't give it the highest rating because it is not very full throughout and needs a fair amount of ornaments to make it fuller and not wimpy. I put burlap ribbon around the tree and a burlap bow on top to enhance the rustic appeal.

Absolutely beautiful, color are pretty vibrant, I thought the size was small but it is actually big so you can decorate it on a wood shelf or wherever you want it. Happy with this buy! Love it , love it, loved it :)

It is a lovely figurine. As a cat lover I appreciate it a lot. Though I turned it sideways cos her eyes sparkle so much it scares me a little :)

There is nothing you can say about this beautifully shaped, flower-draped vase that could add any more value. It speaks for itself.

The horse's mouth is a little goofy, so look closely at the image and decide for yourself. The definition on the horse is not very deep, and is hard to see because the horse is black. My main objection to this item is that the mane is on one side only; therefore the head has to be placed facing as depicted. The price is reasonable. I wanted the white one, but it is almost twice as much money. Maybe they are not identical.

Why the low ratings in some categories? Because the quality of the construction is less than I expected. It's a nice design and looks great, unless you look closely.I settled for the second unit that was shipped as the first one was damaged. That said, the second unit had some of the same issues (wall hung unit). Seams that dont quite meet or fit properly and scratches in the finish. Instead of trying for a third time, Overstock gave me a credit, so I was happy with that. I honestly considered spray painting it black to hide the seams. The funcitonality is great and it does give off a little bit of heat. The gel fuel has an odor, so I've started burning candles at the same time I light the gel cans. The odor can be intense (especially) at the end of the gel life of each can (make sure you put the lids back on the cans right away to avoid some of this). It's clean and easy-to-use. The Gel Fuel can be pricey, expecially if you use this a lot.The one thing I absolutely hate is having to peel the labels off the gel fuel cans before lighting them. This is ridiculous. There's got to be a better way. I would be happy if the cans were shipped without labels with simply a disclosure in the top of the gel fuel case when you open it.Yes, I would buy another one. It is priced appropriately and it does exactly what you expect it to do.

It is so terribly made, it doesn't even try to be nice. Let's start with the best part, first. The firebox. Visually it makes an attractive approximation of a fire. It never looks real, but doesn't look cheesy. The compliments end there. The worst part is the wood mantle. It's so bad, I'll cover it at the end. That is, if you're still reading by then . . . Firebox: The fan/blower in the firebox sounds as though it is suspended on raw metal, as in no bearings. It makes disconcerting rattling and brushing noises. These noises don't resemble soothing in any way shape or form. They sound like the blower is about to fall out. You should hear nothing but the whooshing sound of air. The rattling is so loud, it actually drowns out any sound of moving air. Nowhere in the instructions or on the realflame.com website is there a rating for heat output or power consumption. I can tell you why. Had they supplied a rating, you wouldn't have bought it. It's that poor. Think of it this way: It runs on a standard 120V / 15A outlet. Using standard electrical resistance type elements, it will put out no more heat than a hair dryer, as a hair dryer maxes out the outlet. Just imagine heating a room with a hair dryer. Had they used something like ceramic heating elements or another technology, it might have been a reasonable amount of heat. Even compared to a hair dryer, this realflame heater can't keep up. Plan on standing right next to it, else you'll never know it's on. It's funny, too, because there are caution stickers all over it, warning of the heat. Really? If it ever got hot, the stickers would burn right on the metal casing. They don't. Nothing ever gets even hot enough to be uncomfortable to the touch. Sure, if you restricted the airflow it would be dangerous, but in normal use it's never more than warm. Wood mantel: The best thing I can say is about the color, and it's not good. It's far darker in person than in the picture. Know this up front. Pecan? Looks nothing like pecan. Their pecan finish is the color of dark mahogany. Therefore, I can't even imagine just how dark their dark mahogany is. The two corner vertical pieces of the mantel that look like nice heavy pieces of wood? They're an illusion. Rather than being the wood posts they try to visually evoke, each one only has two sides, and each side made of thin partial board bolted together at the front corner. Like an L-shape. The side pieces are so badly warped, that even using the supplied bolts and brackets, you can't get them to straighten out and line up with the front pieces. Therefore the corner has a gap where the two pieces meet, from top to bottom. Not attractive. Cabinet makers use cabinet-grade MDF (medium density fiberboard) on select panels because hardwood will bow, twist, warp, and expand/contract unevenly. So, certain pieces should be MDF with a veneer because MDF is prized for it's stability of shape. In a mantel, it should be all hard wood. This is not. This is 100% MDF with a veneer. The MDF used is such low grade, it twists, bows, and warps. That's right, the material known for it's flatness and stability has warped and twisted. And, far worse than any piece of hard wood would have. The fasteners (bolts and brackets) used to assemble the 11 pieces that make up the mantel are good. Yet, you can't screw bolts into MDF, they would instantly strip out. So, threaded metal inserts are pressed into the MDF for the bolts to screw into. The threaded inserts are so cheap, when you attempt to tighten the bolts, the threaded inserts just pull out of the MDF. All of the cosmetic pieces are bolted to each other, even if they're merely cosmetic. The only structural pieces in the entire mantel are the two vertical strips that the firebox bolts to. However, rather than bolt those two structural pieces to the rest of the MDF, they're nailed with the smallest brad nails I have ever seen. They must be about 24 gage, they only protrude about 1/4" into the next piece of wood, and there are hardly any of them used. It's a joke. The cosmetic pieces are bolted together while the structural pieces are poorly tacked in place. The top horizontal part of the mantel has trim all around it, secured with the same tiny brad nails. When I attempted to bolt the top onto the rest of the mantel, rather than close the gap between the two pieces, the brad nails gave way and the trim pieces fell off, leaving the top piece just sitting there with nothing to secure it. All of the through-bolts in the mantel, save two, go through 2 pieces of wood. Those other two go through 3 pieces of wood. Wouldn't you think they would provide two bolts longer than the rest? They didn't. No surprise, those last two bolts are too short. They can't even reach through far enough to get threaded into the threaded insert. Again, these two secure the top of the mantel. So, of the four bolts securing the top of the mantel, two are too short, and the other two screw into tacked on trim pieces that have broken free. Packaging and defects: At the factory one of the front pieces was damaged. It had to be at the factory because it was all sealed in thin foam wrapping paper that was undamaged. Yet, it passed inspection and was put into the package. Another piece was damaged during shipment, and NOT by the shipper. It was damaged because it was improperly packed. See, all the pieces are flat. They are laid in the box and separated by thin foam wrapping. They're all different lengths, as well. Yet, there are no foam inserts to accommodate the different lengths of the pieces. So, once packaged up and sent on it's way, the short pieces inside the box are free to slide around and smash into other pieces while in transit. I just can't comprehend how anything costing nearly $500 could be so poorly packaged. Even the cardboard was thin single layer. The firebox? It's package was double corrugated cardboard with thick foam supports. The firebox is metal. You would think realflame would have protected the delicate fragile wood as well or better, not less. If you want one of these, don't plan on using it as a heater. Just turn on the fake flame and appreciate the faux fire image. If you're going to do that, you can easily get a screen saver for your computer that does the same thing for a fraction of the cost.

I ordered this mirror for my powder room bathroom which I recently repainted with Valspar Brisk Olive paint. The counters are now a griege quartz with black specks so this mirror adds the perfect wow factor for this small space and pulls in the black from the counter top. The mirror arrived safely in less than a week. The trim is black and although I probably won't bother it could use a little touch up paint in spots, which is why I rated this product as "good" rather than "excellent." I am very pleased with this product for the hand carved and eclectic look thatI wanted and the price is very reasonable.

The vase arrived in perfect condition promptly after ordering and it was also very well packaged. There was no damage to any of the pink flowers which was a big fear I had upon ordering it. I love love love this vase so much that I'm contemplating ordering another one just in case anything happens to this one. I also want to get the other vases in the same style but larger just to have around the house. I got the 9-inch vase and its perfect for freshcut flowers. I put lavender roses in there this morning and they're just stunning. I hope to find some yellow roses to complement the vase as well. Its the perfect size for a coffee table, side table, dresser or even a centerpiece for a dining table. I love love love this vase and can't say enough good things about it! This could even make a nice wedding gift or really just a gift for any occasion! It looks super expensive and well made in person, not to mention how original it is... I hadn't seen anything like it prior to this site! This is a must buy!

These candles are very pretty in the day time and the style is charming. The artificial vanilla smell is unpleasant for my taste, however my husband is OK with the smell. The bad news is that at night the red crystals turn a yellow/amber and the red disappears. Too bad, if the crystals had only stayed red at night when the candles are turned on, I would have put up with the artificial vanilla smell.

I read the reviews and felt it would be a good purchase. It came well packaged. The individual pieces felt solid and of sound quality. However, when I attempted to put it together, I found that it took some patience attaching the top curved hooks to the stand. The stand wobbles. All four corners do not make contact with the floor at the same time. I was able to get away with placing part of the stand over a floor vent and that took care of the wobbling. If these had been the only problems, I would have given it a higher rating. But the worst part was that the ring that holds the bottom hooks and screws them into the stand, was warped. It was a weird oval shape, obviously flawed, instead of being a circular shape. I tried hammering it, but this is metal, so it was no use. I was able to screw three out of the four screws into the stand. I adjusted it as best as I could and turned the flawed side towards the wall. I didn't feel like returning it. It holds jackets fine and looks very nice. If it weren't for those things, I would give it 5 stars.

Sunglasses were invented in China centuries ago and came to Europe with Marco Polo. Initially, sunglasses were used to hide one's eyes and thoughts. In the mid-1700s, they began to be used as eye protection, and, in the early 20th century, they really began to take off in popularity with sun-struck beachgoers. In the decades that followed, sunglasses became, like any clothing or accessories, a fashion statement. In the 21st century, both protection and style are equally important. This sunglasses buying guide contains basic information to help you wade through the available options so you can choose the sunglasses that work best for you.
