This is the first time I have ever ordered from overstock. I was a bit leery, but I placed the order since I was having a hard time finding what I wanted in stores. The Brannick Media Console Fireplace arrived on time. I opened it and was surprised at how well packed and protected it was. I unloaded each piece and not a mark to be found. I assembled the unit myself, plugged in the fireplace and turned it on.( I am a 4'11" 50 year old woman) It is beautiful, a very sturdy stand and the fireplace makes it even nicer. It has been warming my home for 2 days now, I haven't had to turn any other heat on. Thank You for a great first time experience...

item description needs to say this comes in two boxes. first came the heater insert and i thought it was the wrong item. via chat, ordered a replacement. next day box 2 came then i realized it was in two boxes and didn't need the replacement. replacement could have been eliminated if chat rep mentioned it came in two boxes. now i see piece #3 has an issue at the top but i'm hoping it will be hidden when the top is put on. i have mixed feelings recommending this product but will say yes to recommending. the outer part looks nice but it's been a hassle. JUST KNOW THIS COMES IN TWO BOXES!!! chat reps have been very nice and accommodating!!

It was packaged well. There were 2 small cracks in 2 small pieces of the glass, but they were in a non obvious place and we kept it, easier than packing it up and sending it back. Price was good and wood frame is very nice. We are using in place of a curtain or mini blind in our bathroom which was pink and we didn't have the money to re-do so we did the best with all the pink tile that we had and made a formal look with pink and ivory toile wall paper and this stained glass window and sheer voile with white embroidery curtain as a shower curtain.

I dig it, my husband not so much. he put it together and he said it was quite easy but as far as the extras...1) it should contain pads for the bottom. we have hard wood floors and moving this heavy piece around would definitely leave scratches. 2) where screws are inserted they have small openings, which they supply dark brown stickers, they should have small wood plugs. 3) the back of it has adjustable pegs to keep the mirror on the slant or tilt you desire. he thinks they are annoying. but to be honest I purchased it to see myself full length and to store my jewelry. I think it’s GREAT and just what I needed :)

I was looking for an interesting piece. Something unusual. I like clocks of all kinds. The clocks (2) in this piece are inexpensive and a bit disappointing. They are not securely attached. The battery compartment backs do not stay in place. However, it is wall art, not really a timepiece. It looks nice on my wall.

The fireplace arrived in just under a week. It took 2 of us to put together, much easier to have one person hold a piece while another tightens. Everything was packed well and we are well pleased with the results. Of course we are already into spring here, so I have not used the heat feature, but I did check it out and the heat it throws is significant. I love it!

This curio was exactly what I was looking for. It took a little over 2 hours to put together and the finished product was just fabulous. Two people are recommended for assembly just because of the mirrors. Other than that, the instructions were simple and the pieces were clearly labeled. I was afraid that the mahogany would be too red and would not match the rest of my furniture in the living room but it blended in very well with everything else. I could not ask for anything more and the price was the icing on the cake!

I was looking for a fairly inexpensive fireplace for our new apartment to make a center piece/entertainment center (mounting our TV above the fireplace) out of it for quite a while until I found this gem. For about $400, this fireplace is a steal. The high quality build of it looks amazing and assembly is a breeze. It took about 30 minutes to assemble the entire thing. The best thing about this is the finish and color, we had guests ask us if the fireplace was a part of the apartment - it blended in so perfectly with our living room that it looks as though it was meant to be there. I hardly write reviews on any products, but I was so satisfied with this purchase that I felt compelled to write a review for others in a similar situation. If you need a reassuring review for this product, or if you have any doubts about it - let it go away because you will be happy with this piece. One last thing - the flame canisters are a bit pricey, however the amount of heat it emits makes this fireplace more than decorative. It will definitely warm up a large living room, however, the canisters last about 2 hours. It's a great thing to have when the power goes out, but it will cost more than regular firewood. The ceramic "firewood" piece looks artificial, however, from a distance it looks just fine. The mantel is about the size of an actual fireplace... ample space for decorative plants, candles, etc.

There are two problems with this mirror. 1) it doesn't hang right against the wall by 1 and 1/2 inches and 2) the patern on the copper is too uniform, making it obvious that it is an assembly line piece instead of an art piece.

It looks ok, I am keeping them, but the wire is thicker so more pronounced and the pieces all glued on and some kind of uneven, maybe no one will notice once it's hung. I do like it although I might have liked it more if it looked lighter somehow. it's definitely sturdy and really heavy, not sure how I am going to hang them. I bought 2 because I have a high wall at my entrance and wasn't sure what to hang there, I think they will make an impression as a pair to however comes into my house.

I have a 3-piece leather living room set, with 2 ottomans, and had found some beautiful light rust-colored pillows to go on the sofa about a year ago. The pillows have an embroidered gold "floral" design on the fronts, which go perfectly with the rust and gold in several of my pictures that are hung in the room. They looked nice by themselves, but I always imagined a set of pale gold pillows, with similar design, would really set them off nicely. Then I came across these pillows on Overstock.com and new that they were exactly what I was looking for! The bigger picture of the rust-colored pillows look very much like my original pillows, and that was what caught my eye first...then I saw the other colors and spotted the pale gold option...it goes perfectly with my other pillows and really adds to the room. I am very pleased with my purchase...the fabric, the workmanship on the embroidery, and they arrived quickly and well packaged. No complaints!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this item! My apartment is about 900 sq feet & I needed something functional for storage to put in my entry. This item is perfect! it's fully functional and looks great. I had some friends over during the weekend and people couldn't say enough good things about it. I use the filing system but only about once a week. For that reason I was able to leave the basket liners in the baskets. But my daughter and I had discussed a way to slit the sides and expose the file rails. It would have been easy and just a few straight seems. I know it seems rediculous to pay for something and then have to alter it but that's the way it goes. One of my friends loved it so well, she's considering getting one of the 2 basket units to use as a night table and file storage in her spare bedroom/office. Again, great piece!

This is so beautiful and easy to put it together, instructions were clear and precise, it took about 1 1/2 hours to put together. I live in Florida but it does get chilly here too. It looks like a real expensive piece and the ambiance is just gorgeous....Love, love love it!

I researched these online, they were $95 ea. I am so happy to have found them at O.com at such low price. I purchased 2 to use over my fireplace each beside my mirror. I was surprised at how light weight these were! Obviously not real wrought iron, then again i would not want a heavy iron piece this size ripping off my walls and falling down, so the light weight is an advantage. The bright orange paint under the black was a let down. I will probably re finish these to a dark bronze. But overall it was worthy it. These pieces are very beautiful and versatile. They would look good above my windows too or beside a painting. I am excited to be able to decorate with these. The shipping took 5 days or so. Not too bad. This is my first purchase with Overstock and i am very happy. Thanks Overstock!

I love it! It was delivered within a week, free shipping; and easy to assemble. All I had to do was screw in the 2 or 4 nails that allows the mirror to be hooked over. THE ONLY THING THAT COULD MAKE THIS a 100% product as opposed to its current 95% approval rating is if it had some sort of handle to open the door, as opposed to the magnet that connects it together. Sometimes you have to push things around and/or strategically maneuver your jewelry so that the bigger pieces are not closest to the door, so that the armoire door closes. I’m thinking of going to home depot to purchase a small handle for it. Besides that, its great!

I was leery to order this online but figured why not with Overstock's return policy. No need to worry about return policy because this is definitely NOT going back. I received it within 2 days, packaged securely, and in great shape. I had it out of the box, hung over the door and loaded with all kinds of jewelry in short order. I feel this was money well spent and so glad to see it is an American made product. I am planning to screw it to the wall instead of leaving it on the door but have not done so yet (need to be sure of the location). The only problem I have with the product is finding the piece of jewelry I want because it holds so much. I LOVE this jewelry box and mirror!!!

I am happy to have this chance to get a lot of jewelry in one place rather than in assorted boxes here and there. Nice looking piece. Trouble is, the space is limited and poorly designed; Not enough vertical spaces for hanging long necklaces, and too many areas for very short necklaces and chains. Earring slots are very tiny and again, hard to hang up larger pierced styles without them falling out on the floor. I have a lot of jewelry and have to hang 2 or three chains on each hook; then you have to remove them to get at the one you want to wear that day. I have many more bracelets than they have given room for, so I still have to have several other containers for them in another place. I am glad to be using this jewelry box, but I'd like to see some changes made to make it more efficient in the future.

This fireplace is beautiful and simple to assemble. It didn't come with wood glue so I didn't use any and it is very solid. Mostly real wood. I didn't get this for heating purposes but it does heat very well. I am a very busy person and I worked on this after work having to stop a few times to pick up kids and such so I assembled this in 2 days. Just took my time with it. The shelving units are separate so I assembled them on the second day and it took about an hour. I didn't use power tools but I think the material would have held up fine using them. I did spend alot of time researching these and this one was by far my favorite and the price on this site can't be beat. It is a beautiful, rich, warm color similar to the picture. Instructions were simple to understand and for once I didn't have to take anything apart because I put a piece in upside down.

Wonderful piece of metal and glass wall art. Well made, easy to hang, and about 1/2 the price of similar art I've seen other places. Nice clean workmanship. Catches and is pleasing to the eye.

We have been shopping for a mantle fireplace for the past several months. So....when I say we looked at a LOT of mantle fireplaces, suffice it to say we felt we knew all about them! I read the reviews (3) for this one. In choosing this one to order it was very helpful that one review said the stain was more "medium oak" than "light oak". We definitely were looking for a medium oak. When the fireplace arrived it was extremely well packed. The only negative comment is that the styrofoam was in little tiny pieces and was stuck to everything and is still all over my house. We were missing one "L" bracket from the hardware package but we made it work without it. We had extra hardware for all other items. When I removed the first board I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality and weight of the wood. It is definitely a medium oak stain. It took approximately 2 hours to assemble the entire fireplace and have it glowing with a nice warm fire. We love the remote control and all the different settings to adjust the flame color & height, the temperature, the blower and the timer. We put this into our bedroom in a corner and placed a 46" TV on it and it's absolutely gorgeous! All other furniture in our bedroom is antique with a medium oak stain and a wrought iron bed. This piece fits in perfectly! I would highly recommend this fireplace. For the price and with free shipping, you cannot go wrong with this one!!! Merry Christmas to us!!!

It is so terribly made, it doesn't even try to be nice. Let's start with the best part, first. The firebox. Visually it makes an attractive approximation of a fire. It never looks real, but doesn't look cheesy. The compliments end there. The worst part is the wood mantle. It's so bad, I'll cover it at the end. That is, if you're still reading by then . . . Firebox: The fan/blower in the firebox sounds as though it is suspended on raw metal, as in no bearings. It makes disconcerting rattling and brushing noises. These noises don't resemble soothing in any way shape or form. They sound like the blower is about to fall out. You should hear nothing but the whooshing sound of air. The rattling is so loud, it actually drowns out any sound of moving air. Nowhere in the instructions or on the realflame.com website is there a rating for heat output or power consumption. I can tell you why. Had they supplied a rating, you wouldn't have bought it. It's that poor. Think of it this way: It runs on a standard 120V / 15A outlet. Using standard electrical resistance type elements, it will put out no more heat than a hair dryer, as a hair dryer maxes out the outlet. Just imagine heating a room with a hair dryer. Had they used something like ceramic heating elements or another technology, it might have been a reasonable amount of heat. Even compared to a hair dryer, this realflame heater can't keep up. Plan on standing right next to it, else you'll never know it's on. It's funny, too, because there are caution stickers all over it, warning of the heat. Really? If it ever got hot, the stickers would burn right on the metal casing. They don't. Nothing ever gets even hot enough to be uncomfortable to the touch. Sure, if you restricted the airflow it would be dangerous, but in normal use it's never more than warm. Wood mantel: The best thing I can say is about the color, and it's not good. It's far darker in person than in the picture. Know this up front. Pecan? Looks nothing like pecan. Their pecan finish is the color of dark mahogany. Therefore, I can't even imagine just how dark their dark mahogany is. The two corner vertical pieces of the mantel that look like nice heavy pieces of wood? They're an illusion. Rather than being the wood posts they try to visually evoke, each one only has two sides, and each side made of thin partial board bolted together at the front corner. Like an L-shape. The side pieces are so badly warped, that even using the supplied bolts and brackets, you can't get them to straighten out and line up with the front pieces. Therefore the corner has a gap where the two pieces meet, from top to bottom. Not attractive. Cabinet makers use cabinet-grade MDF (medium density fiberboard) on select panels because hardwood will bow, twist, warp, and expand/contract unevenly. So, certain pieces should be MDF with a veneer because MDF is prized for it's stability of shape. In a mantel, it should be all hard wood. This is not. This is 100% MDF with a veneer. The MDF used is such low grade, it twists, bows, and warps. That's right, the material known for it's flatness and stability has warped and twisted. And, far worse than any piece of hard wood would have. The fasteners (bolts and brackets) used to assemble the 11 pieces that make up the mantel are good. Yet, you can't screw bolts into MDF, they would instantly strip out. So, threaded metal inserts are pressed into the MDF for the bolts to screw into. The threaded inserts are so cheap, when you attempt to tighten the bolts, the threaded inserts just pull out of the MDF. All of the cosmetic pieces are bolted to each other, even if they're merely cosmetic. The only structural pieces in the entire mantel are the two vertical strips that the firebox bolts to. However, rather than bolt those two structural pieces to the rest of the MDF, they're nailed with the smallest brad nails I have ever seen. They must be about 24 gage, they only protrude about 1/4" into the next piece of wood, and there are hardly any of them used. It's a joke. The cosmetic pieces are bolted together while the structural pieces are poorly tacked in place. The top horizontal part of the mantel has trim all around it, secured with the same tiny brad nails. When I attempted to bolt the top onto the rest of the mantel, rather than close the gap between the two pieces, the brad nails gave way and the trim pieces fell off, leaving the top piece just sitting there with nothing to secure it. All of the through-bolts in the mantel, save two, go through 2 pieces of wood. Those other two go through 3 pieces of wood. Wouldn't you think they would provide two bolts longer than the rest? They didn't. No surprise, those last two bolts are too short. They can't even reach through far enough to get threaded into the threaded insert. Again, these two secure the top of the mantel. So, of the four bolts securing the top of the mantel, two are too short, and the other two screw into tacked on trim pieces that have broken free. Packaging and defects: At the factory one of the front pieces was damaged. It had to be at the factory because it was all sealed in thin foam wrapping paper that was undamaged. Yet, it passed inspection and was put into the package. Another piece was damaged during shipment, and NOT by the shipper. It was damaged because it was improperly packed. See, all the pieces are flat. They are laid in the box and separated by thin foam wrapping. They're all different lengths, as well. Yet, there are no foam inserts to accommodate the different lengths of the pieces. So, once packaged up and sent on it's way, the short pieces inside the box are free to slide around and smash into other pieces while in transit. I just can't comprehend how anything costing nearly $500 could be so poorly packaged. Even the cardboard was thin single layer. The firebox? It's package was double corrugated cardboard with thick foam supports. The firebox is metal. You would think realflame would have protected the delicate fragile wood as well or better, not less. If you want one of these, don't plan on using it as a heater. Just turn on the fake flame and appreciate the faux fire image. If you're going to do that, you can easily get a screen saver for your computer that does the same thing for a fraction of the cost.
