I love this mirror. We have it hanging above our mantel. Although it looks great, it seems flimsy when you hold it.

These are perfect for decorating buffet or long banquet tables. Plan to use them for a rehearsal dinner party. They can be used with candles or just an arrangements. Light weight and will work on a mantel as well. Great for holiday decorating. Great price. Saw others elsewhere for twice the price. Thanks Overstock.

Believe the reviews that say it has a bad odor. I put baking soda in the lower trays, sprayed it with an odor neutralize and it stills stinks. I bought this 01/2013. I'm still trying to figure out how to make earrings stay in the slots. One of the bars that has hooks for necklaces fell off. I glued it back on and so far it has stayed. It's a vey good looking piece just stinky and not the best for storing pierced earrings.

I looked at many different screens and websites before deciding to purchase this particular item, and I'm very happy with my purchase. The style of it goes perfectly with my fireplace, mantel and room decor. It's very lightweight, which I like, but looks sturdy. I wish it were slightly less expensive but compared to some of the competitor products out there, it seems fairly-priced. Would definitely recommend this to a friend!

I hung this over my mantel and it adds a lot of character as compared to the rectangular wooden mirror I had up before.

These 3 clocks were exactly what I was looking for. The small siize allows for hanging on wall or leaning. The colors are great for early period decor and the quality excellent for the price.

This is a pricey piece, so I had high expectations for quality. It's really not much nicer than the slightly smaller mirror I bought at ******* for 1/3 the price.

I really like the way that these shelves look once they are up. I was a little disappointed in the fact that the silver waves between each shelf are plastic due tithe price being almost $$. I am rating it a bit lower due to the plastic brackets. I am concerned about the durability.

I put this fireplace together myself - Really easy --- It shipped on time - arrived perfectly in tack --- I placed this product in my dinning room especially for the up comming Holidays.... It gives off a nice flickering safe fire - and actually throws out some heat whick I did not expect. The design is clean and the color (ivory) works well with the rest of the decor. I can't wait to hang my christmas wreath over it and lay the garland over the mantel....... Another Overstock great deal.......

I "LOVE" it. It is the perfect color AND it had said "assembly" needed. It was already put together. LOVE it. I would (and maybe will) order another one. This is an A+ product for the money.

Oh my goodness! Wow! This is a beauty. Stock was low when I purchased and if there are any left, do not hesitate to buy now! This mirror is showy, hanging over a mantel, and is so good looking. It looks like it should cost a bundle and is a steal at the Overstock price. It arrived in great shape...heavily padded, no nicks, chips or cracks. I could not be happier - thanks Overstock!

I am thrilled with the purchase, but am probably talking to myself as they seem to be sold out of the ivory version now! It is ivory, not white, but a light ivory as in the picture. I've had the fireplace for a couple of months now, it looks great, I get lots of compliments. This was the biggest, assumed most complicated assemply, purchase I've made on line, and was nervous about it. Oddly enough, the posts where individuals said they had problems but were fixed easily was what convinced me to go ahead with the order. These fireplaces are much more expenseive in stores, which I investigated, so I was afraid this might look different in person. It does not, looks great! We put it together on a Sat, and we did have a small problem. Customer Service is not open on Sat, but I left a message and they returned my call first thing Mon morning (to all the nos I left, home/cell) telling me they already shipped the needed piece and it was there the same week. In spite of all the extraordinary packing (just like all the other posts noted), one of the corners on the mantel had a small ding. So they replaced the full mantel, no questions, no return shipment of the old mantel. I didn't have to fill out any paperwork. Couldn't have been easier. The flame looks great, just like the expensive ones in the store. The remote never did work, but from the other comments I suspected that would happen, and it was not a deal breaker for me. There are a fair amount of pieces to assemble, I did think it was a small project to put it together, but it wasn't hard. I expected that and set the time aside, so it was not a problem. The end product is so worth it! Make sure your cordless drill/screwdriver is charged before you start :-) Love it!

It looks nice on the mantel. Due to the height and size you can see the bottom of the clock so I decided to keep it.

The color on the Pecan mantel is darker than the picture suggests. More mahogany color. I was disappointed. No remote was received with the 2 boxes of parts. The fireplace did not sit against the wall once set up I had to place a matchbook under the sides of the front to angle it back towards the wall. The fireplace is beautiful. I called customer service for Real Flame and they were friendly. They are sending a remote out to me in 5-7 business days.

overall they are nice, but very hard to open. Need a strong can opener, not a screwdriver.

The mantel had a small chip in it. I haven't called SI to replace the part yet, as i'm traveling soon and can't wait around for another package, but from the other reviews I except SI to have great customer service so this won't be a problem. It was packaged pretty well so I imagine the ding came from the factory and not shipping. Oh well. Other than that, the fire looks fairly realistic on low, there is a subtle sound of crackling (and I do mean SUBTLE). The off-white mantel is not quite the best quality (tiny gaps in a few places... seems its all on the mantel portion that needs replacement), and the remote only half works (fire UP and log UP buttons do not)... but for under $$$, it's what I expected and i'm overall very pleased with how this looks in my condo.

High Style old world type mirror unfortunately finish had streaks, drips, fingerprint marks - zero quality control. Because of poor finish - very obvious that it is made of resin with a sloppy attempt at a distressed wood finish. Was fine for me because I intended to have it painted to sit atop a painted fireplace as an over mantel otherwise would have had to return. Painted it is quite beautiful. If you intend to use as is - don't.

This is not what's shown. The leaves are not full. It looks more like a bamboo tree than a ficus tree. I'm using it outdoors.
Depending on how you choose to decorate your indoor fireplace mantel, it can be the room's focal point or an extension of an already established theme. The only thing that can make indoor fireplaces more warm and welcoming is the right decorative accessories along the mantelpiece. Plan your fireplace decor carefully because there are a few common decorating traps when it comes to mantels. Some people crowd the mantel with too many small pieces, while others resort to symmetrical arrangements of objects all the same height. Think about your mantel as a gallery with the potential for rotating exhibits.
Decorating your fireplace mantel is a subtle way to change your room with every season. To make your fireplace mantel the focal point of a room, pick decorative accessories that make it stand out. Here are a few ideas to help you decorate your mantel for each season.
Kwanzaa is meant to be celebrated with family and friends as a way to honor the past and look forward to the future. One important part of celebrating Kwanzaa is decorating the home with traditional seasonal decor. Kwanzaa holiday decor incorporates traditional symbols of African American heritage, both old and new. For example, a kinara symbolizes the African American past, present and future while authentic African folk art is displayed to honor African American roots. Tribal masks, hand-carved statues and wooden fruit bowls from Ghana and other areas of historical significance throughout Africa are often displayed as meaningful decorative accessories during the holiday season as well as home decor all year round.
