I was very excited when I ordered this frame, because it looks beautiful in the picture. When it arrived (twenty minutes ago), however, I discovered that the middle panel was cracked, showing the lighter color in an ugly scar across the beautiful dark surface. One of the slats has a HOLE in it, there are joints that weren't fastened well enough and are pulling apart, showing the wooden dowels that are attempting to hold the pieces together. The slats themselves weren't stained/finished to the ends, so the ends of several of them are showing a lighter color, and some of them aren't even evenly colored from top to bottom! It's pretty to see from across the room, but if you're within five feet of it, you can see the color changes and the hole in the slat. I requested an RMA and refund less than ten minutes after the package arrived at my door. I am NOT at ALL happy with this item, and I would recommend that anyone considering it save your money or look at some of the other beautiful screens available on this site.

It can sometimes be hard to buy things online, but this piece was exactly what we thought it would be. Good quality, looks great and arrived in great condition. It was the finishing touch for our living room.
