This sink is heavy, well made and quite attractive. However, ours is PURPLE. For us, this was not an issue as it was within our color range, and I expect there may be production variations from item to item. But ours is not lavender. I still give it 5 stars as it is a really nice sink and worth the price compared to any other source I've found for purple or lavender sinks. I think you'll like it if you can accept a broad definition of "lavender". If a light source strikes it, it casts pretty colors, too.
