I've owned many a coffee maker, but none to equal this one. It's sturdy; well-crafted. The double-walled carafe keeps coffee warm AND it doesn't allow the coffee to develop a burned flavor. I can't believe how well-priced is this item as compared to other, similar items. I give it a 10+!

Bought this to replace a dead thermal coffee maker from another company. Very pleased so far (3 weeks) with the machine. The design is great, the material is very good, and the coffee it makes is excellent. We like our coffe strong so we use the "aroma" button to make sure the coffee is strong and rich. It really works. No problems at all so far. One interesting feature is the heater, which is not normally present in thermal carafe coffee makers. Not sure it is important or even desired, but it does have it. Overall, a great purchase at a great price.

I would not recommend this unit to anyone nor purchase another one. The carafe insulation is not very good, as the warm coffee is cold within an hour. The lid design for pouring is lousy.
