Pretty basic
This is a pretty basic coffee maker for the price, and admittedly we purchased it more for the aesthetics and to match our Kmix espresso machine. It brews a fine cup of coffee, but the machine does drip when I remove the carafe. It doesn't have any fancy features, and we've never left it plugged in long enough to witness it turning itself off after 2 hours. It's simple: turn it on, and it brews. A nice function is the feedback from the machine that it needs descaling, which I actually have to do this weekend. Like others have mentioned, the lid IS tall, so I do have to pull it out from under the cabinet to put in the grounds/fill the water tank. So, with all of that said, if you are looking for something with features, I wouldn't look here. BUT, if you're looking for something eye-catchy and simple, then this might be your guy.
