Great product!
from San Francisco,  Jul 12, 2011

Buy this! Used this for few days so far: This is a great machine. It looks deceptively small in the picture but once you see it in reality the size is very nice. It is just large enough to fit a nice sized cappuccino cup not rely only on tiny expresso cups. The machine runs very smoothly and the frother is powerful enough to make a very decent foam, easily making 3 times the original volume of the milk in the pitcher.

Excellent Product
from Los Angeles, CA,  Mar 21, 2012

I got this espresso machine as a gift for my boyfriend because he's a huge espresso drinker, and the cheapo espresso machine I had gotten him several years ago had crapped out. He was extremely hesitant when he first saw it, because he's a coffee snob and wanted to make sure his next espresso machine had the proper pump pressure, temperature, etc. After doing some research about this machine, though, he was thrilled! The 15-bar pump is exactly what he wanted, and the temperature control that this machine boasts was also perfect. He's had it for 3 months now, and raves about how great it works. Whenever people come over and we make them a cappuccino, they always remark how good it is and how it tastes like something they could have purchased at a quality coffee shop. If there are any complaints, it's that the steamer is pretty tricky to get right - the first handful of times we tried it, we overheated the milk and it got lumpy. We're still working out the perfect balance. Also, my boyfriend has complained about the plastic parts in the coffee dripper and steamer, as this could eventually start to deteriorate under high heat, while metal wouldn't. As someone who is less coffee-obsessed, this hadn't even occurred to me. Overall, i would recommend this product to coffee amateurs and coffee lovers alike. Just make sure you read the manual carefully - the machine will run on auto at less-than-ideal temperatures for brewing. You have to manually turn the coffee button on and off if you want to make sure it brews at an ideal temperature.

Stylish
from Sedona, AZ,  Feb 1, 2012

We've only used this three times, but it worked perfectly. I think it would be easier to simply heat a cup in the micro, rather than use the cup heating feature. I have not used the frother. It is simple to use a hand one and then add the espresso. I use ESE pods-no mess, no fuss. Coffee maker is very attractive and sturdy.

So far so good.
from San Francisco,  Feb 1, 2012

After seeing all kinds of espresso machines in the $350+ range, and the only ones cheaper being either steam machines or the silly packet-based things, I was happy to find this 15-bar pump for the very low price. I've had it now one month and, fingers crossed, it's working very well. Fingers crossed, because there are a couple of worrying little things: If I make cappuccino and then go back to make a second drink, the Ready lights can freak out a little. The coffee light works fine when I'm just making espresso; the steam light works fine right after, to make foam. If I then want to make another drink, though, and have both buttons up to heat some more water, the coffee light will blink faintly and sometimes never show itself to be ready. Also had an issue once where we turned the machine on without noticing there wasn't water in it. The Ready light never came on, but even after we filled the tank, we couldn't get the machine to heat up. We left the machine off for a few minutes, and then it worked fine. So I take it this was some kind of safety switch being tripped. In short, I'm not confident yet this works well for making, say, cappuccinos all round for half a dozen dinner guests, but I've had great espressos every morning.

Good starter machine
 from Oregon,  Dec 30, 2011

For the price, this is a great little machine. I'm just learning to make espresso, but each time my shots pull a bit better. Still working out the milk frothing. The frothing wand is short, so it's tricky to get the end of the wand into the milk for a proper end result. But I'm figuring it out. Nothing fancy, but it's nice to have a latte without leaving home.

It took about 10 tries to get the espresso just right. I think that I fell asleep by 2 in the morning, but what a wonderful joy not to go to yucky Starbucks for their coffee, now I can make it just right. It was easy to use and easy to clean, easy to fit in a space in my kitchen, our kitchen is large but every area has a function and this fit right in. It is not too big and looks great. It is a little loud when the pouring function is in progress, but for me, it is music to my ears when I know that I am getting a GREAT cup of espresso to make my wonderful coffee drinks.
