DeLonghi Dolce Gusto Genio Single Serve Espresso/ Coffee Maker

I am loving this coffeemaker. It is super easy to use and the flavors I've tried are good (so far, the caramel latte and plain Americano coffee). The latte could stand to be sweeter, for my taste, so I add a packet of Equal. The capsules and the machine itself are pricey, so this is probably not great for a die-hard coffee drinker who measures their consumption in number of pots instead of cups. On the other hand, I only drink 1 cup of coffee per day and this is perfect because I enjoy cappuccino and latte drinks like you get from restaurants and coffee houses. The Dolce Gusto website also has a rewards program that lets you earn more product as you buy capsules for your machine. This machine heats up quickly, brews your coffee in no time, and is easy to clean. A bigger water reservoir would be helpful but I'd rather do without that in order to keep the footprint small on my countertop. The Genio takes up less space than a drip-type coffeemaker. I've had so much fun with this, it's the best treat I could have given myself.

Received one as a gift for my birthday and purchased this one as a gift for a friend. I am very pleased with the machine. Easy and quick to use. Lots of variety to choose from online. The availability of flavor choices locally is less than optimal but I signed up for the automatic refill with free shipping so it is not a problem. I work nights so it is nice to get up in the afternoon and have a cappuccino or latte pick me up. My husband is a black coffee drinker and has started using in the afternoons and evening with Dark roast or the Cafe Lungo and is very pleased with the quality and taste. One of the best gifts I have ever received.

This is a great single serve brewer. The coffee is excellent and the machine heats quickly and makes coffee in a flash. It also makes cappuccino, espresso, lattees. I've tried all of these and they're excellent. The Dulce Gusto coffee capsules are great and must be used with this maker. The only down side is the capsules are much more expensive than regular coffee and there's no way to use your own coffee. Plus, there's not as much variety as other capsule brewers. However, the coffee it uses is so good and the maker brews so quickly, I still love it. Hopefully Nescafe will up the variety soon. Overstock delivered it well packaged and relatively quickly.
