I bought these cushions so that the folks who have to sit in the folding chairs around the Thanksgiving table can get up to table height -- and they matched my dining room cushions fairly closely. These are just fine for indoor eating. Yes, the underside is white, but on my chairs, you couldn't see the underside, so it wasn't an issue. Overall, at the low price, if someone spills wine on it -- so what? Everyone will be able to sit at the dining room table and we will have a great time.
