This is a nice solid TV stand. It holds a 36 inch Sony TV. Its an old set that weighs 187 lb.

I really like this TV stand - great quality and the swivel option is a great plus! Easty to assemble - took about 2 hours, but easty to follow instructions. The stand was well packaged for safe shipping. Great purchase for me.

My review is not about the TV stand itself, but hopefully it may help someone avoid the problems that I have had after ordering this TV stand. I ordered the TV stand and it was damaged during shipment. The shipping company just threw it away as I found out by the tracking information when it was past due to arrive. Fortunately, Overstock.com sent me another TV stand. Unfortunately, that package was damaged as well during shipment with scratches on several of the pieces and parts missing. Beware! The shipping weight of the package is very heavy: 108 pounds. In my experience of seeing the box for this last shipment, the TV stand is shipped in a flimsy box that is easily damaged.

It took me 2 hours to put this together with no help, so if you have someone to help you it should be less. It looks great with my T.V. which I also got at overstock. the size it good for my studio apartment does not take a lot of space, but has a lot of of room inside for my cable box and dvd player and my dvd's. a great buy no regrets:)

Nice substantial little stand. Holds a much larger wide screen than the product description indicates- Using it for a 42" widescreen with no problem. It arrived with one of the particle board back pieces broken. Too much trouble to pack it up and send it back to Overstock. Contacted the manufacturer in Bayonne, NJ, and they sent a replacement right away at no cost. Great company and the assembly directions were actually intelligible.
