I loved the cabinet so much I ordered another one the day I received the first one. The cabinet came practically assembled. The color is rich and elegant. Also, the cabinet takes up less space than the other cabinet I had in the same space. It's just what I've been looking for and couldn't find anywhere else. Great buy!

I purchased this item from Overstock.com because I have seen it other places, but it was the cheapest on here and the shipping you can not beat. When the box arrived and I opened it, I was pleasantly surprised to see there was nothing to put together. It came completely assembled, aside from the adjustable shelves for the inside. For an MDF type of product, it looks good with it's veneers. The shelves however are solid wood. After filling the entire cabinet with CDs and DVDs I wasn't impressed at how the door became weighted down, so it's a little crooked upon closing. Apparently a flaw in the design of this product. I think this wouldn't bother me so much if I paid $100 or less for the item.

I ordered this piece after reading the reviews. We need cabinets that won't take up much space, and this fit perfectly. I also needed something that wouldn't require much assembly. This was the perfect choice! The only assembly required was inserting pegs in the holes and sliding in the shelves. Quick and easy! My husband and I love the way it looks in our family room. We'll probably order another one for the office!

I was somewhat hesitant about buying this product sight unseen, but I was more than pleasantly surprised when it arrived. It was all I could ask for and more. Great appearance, looks just like the photo, good workmanship, great value and it arrived quickly. Can't ask for much more!

It is really the only one of it's kind. I looked everywhere for a pedastal media holder. This is it. Cleverly designed, not much to add in except shelves. The little metal shelf holders are in an envelope rather then just loose as people suggest. Perhaps they improved packaging. The color is truly a cherry. If you can live with that this is a very clever and attractive solution to the CD disaster explosion that most people contend with.

Order arrived fairly quickly, with no external damage indications. One top corner (in the back, fortunately) did get a little crunched, but with some touch up is not very noticeable. As noted in previous reviews, all the shelf pegs were scattered loosely in the box (why not in a bag?), and it took some careful searching to gather them all. Very easy to set up, as all you need to do is install the shelf pegs and the shelves. As also noted in a previous review, the gap between the top of the door and the top shelf is somewhat uneven, narrower on the right (hinge) side than on the left, which detracts somewhat from it otherwise being a very nice looking piece of furniture. Overall, it works very well as a way to hide away CDs in something that's actually decorative.

I ordered this product because it matched the TV stand in my living area beautifully. The product arrived promptly and was packed well. Unfortunately there were no dowels to hold the shelving. I'm extremely disappointed because it's such an important item for the product. How difficult can it be to pack the few items necessary to make this product complete?Beautiful item but for the price I'd expect to receive all the items I ordered.

Because of the mixed reviews, I only order 1 of these storage cabinets. BIG MISTAKE. Although it holds all of my CD's, I need another one for the DVD's and VHS. This is a beautiful stream lined piece and it fits perfectly in a corner of my living room. The assembly consisted of putting in the shelves. On that note, it would have been nice if the manufacturer would have placed the dowels for the shelves in a smail bag instead of tossing them in the box. It took me an entire day to find the last one (it was in the crease of the box.
If items was still available, I would definitely recommend it to others.

This came well packaged and protected. Almost no assembly was required, just fitting in the shelves. It is solid, capacious and handsome, and it looks great in the dining area.
Some of the shelving pegs were missing, but the manufacturer shipped out replacements immediately.
Excellent value.

First & foremost, this is an elegant piece of furniture! It just happens to store a ton of CDs or DVDs. Fabulous in every way. The workmanship & wood itself are perfect. I was impressed by the packaging, so carefully & solidly protected. The only assembly was to slip in a few chrome nuts to hold the shelves in place. The most difficult decision I had to make was where to place it! It's too beautiful to hide away in a corner. It's now in a prominent location for all to see. Incredible value. Who would even think of buying real "furniture" at an online discount store? I do, after this purchase. And I will do it again- especially from Overstock.

This was another good purchase from O. It was just the right size for a small space. Its really designed to hold cd's but the shelves are adjustable so we were able to fit quite a few VHS movies. The color is a bit lighter than I would have liked, not the "dark" cherry the pix makes it look like.

We have this product in our living room and, just to pass by it--it looks fine. A closer inspection (and you don't have to get a lot closer) reveals that the gap between the door and the lid widens from one side to the other. The staining job is sloppy inside and has a strong stain smell to it for awhile. It does its job. It holds CD and such and it has adjustable shelves. The door moves easily and there were no mechanical problems otherwise. Fine for extra storage in the corner of the room.

The top to the pedestal is so severely slanted that you can't put anything on it. At just a glance, you can see the top sticking up on the front left hand corner. Because of its size, it is not worth paying shipping and restocking fee to return.
