This item came completely assembled and carefully packed. All I had to do was unpack it and move it to where I wanted it. I live in a condo, and needed some extra storage, and this is the perfect size for my linens and towels, which frees up valuable closet space while looking very classy.
We purchased this ottoman for under windows placement in a living room we are re-decorating in a semi-modern style on a budget. The ottoman is very well built, sturdy, and a deep, rich espresso brown color. The visual placement effect is exactly what we anticipated and more. It really makes the area and windows "pop"! We couldn't be happier with this purchase. It was a real smart bargain.
I have been looking for an ottoman for the longest time. This one is perfect. I was able to fit 4 large pillows. Great quality, great color, great deal!
We've always been satisfied with our purchases at Overstock. Good value, good quality, good delivery, good customer support. This was the same experience. The leather is a very dark brown, about as shown. We bought this to use as an ottoman in front of a sofa because it was one of the lower ones, the kids tell me they wish it was lower. But we also wanted the storage,for blankets and what not. It does that well. It seems solid and there was no assembly. It wasn't the perfect fit for us in style, color and height, but for a compromise it is quite adequate . We new that when we bought it, and we trusted that what we saw was what we would get. And we did.

This item was a great purchase for us. Not too expensive. We got it to keep our son's toys in to clean up the living room. All his toys fit, and he loves to sit or lay on top of it-reading, pretending it's a boat, etc. I sit on it with him, too. Glad we bought it. It obviously isn't a $bench, but it looks really nice for $! Not at all cheesy or cheap.
