I recently purchased my very first down comforter. I wasn't sure what to look for when buying, so I did some research. After educating myself, I searched many websites for the best deal. Overstock.com had the best product for the best price. The thread count was high and so was the fill power. It is super warm and very soft. I am very pleased with this purchase!

For various reasons, namely entirely too much time spent in academia, I've started making comparison spreadsheets for most bigger purchases. (I know, my husband rightly makes fun of me for it too:-) Point being, after accounting for price, average customer review rating, thread count, and fill power, this comforter is the best that Overstock offers in the $60 to $150 range. It arrived quickly and after one day of airing out, fluffed nicely and all residual smells disappeared. The fabric shell is a high thread count, soft, with a nice stripe design. So far, we've had no problems with feathers poking out. Nevertheless, get a good quality duvet cover -- it will save you money on dry cleaning. The down is evenly distributed and we haven't had any problems with shifting/cold spots yet. It's seems to be very warm, but the temperature here hasn't dropped enough, so I'll update the review again in January. My husband's one complaint is that the comforter's too comfy, making it really tough to get out of bed in the morning (we also have a feather bed -- a previous great Overstock purchase.) Overall -- a recommended buy.

Is it just my comforter or is anyone else having a problem with leakage of the down? I've had this comfortor for about 1-2 months and the feathers come out like crazy. I'm constantly vaccuming the feathers. I wouldn't recommend this product to my friends because I think the leakage of down is a very important quality of a down comforter. Other than that, it's a comfortable blanket.

This is a great buy you won't be dissapointed! This comforter feels like a big blanket of clouds, so soft and full. Will recommend you get an equally high TC egyptian cotton duvet to protect the comforter. Will recommend you fluff it out when you pull it out of the package and if you have a super pillow top queen size bed, go with the King like I did. You won't be disspointed.

At first I thought I got the lone sewer who knew nothing of down management when filling the baffling. The majority of the down was sewen into the baffling that hung over the bed (3+" fluff). There were five center forward panels with very little down, less than1"fluff. The unit was returned and a refund granted. I then tried again and returned that unit as well. Again the majority of the fluff/down was in the baffling hanging over the bed. One center panel, 2nd row from the top, only fluffed up to about 1/2". I need the fluff/down over me and not along side the bed. I will try again but with a different manufacture. Kind of makes me wonder about all those 5 star ratings. Sure not the same quality of what I slept under when stationed in Germany.

We love these down blankets! They're warm and very comfortable in the cold winter. Sometimes even a little too warm. But I'd rather that, than freeze.

This comforter is AMAZING!!! It's my first down comforter and I absolutely love it! It keeps me warm, and I love the wieght of it. The fabric quality is excellent, and the down seems to be very evenly distributed. Another plus: since I started using this blanket I haven't had to turn on my space heater ONCE, so I'm saving energy too!

The comforter is very nice. It is very well made. The down is nicely separated- not all clumped to one side. It is very warm. We have used it for the last few weeks and are very happy with the quality.

I had down comforters on every bed in the house except mine. I finally indulged and found this product to exceed expectations. Last summer I bought my daughter a comforter from a major high-end department store at 2+times more money and it is not as luxurious as this one. I highly recommend this product, I was wowed!

I LOVE IT! It is beautiful! When I recieved this down comforter(king size) I pulled it out, smelled it,(smelled fresh and new with no funny smell.) through it on my bed, gave it a good shake and it fluffed up beautifully! By the next day it was really fluffy. I love it. My husband gets hot under it if it is to warm in the bedroom but if we keep it cool then he sleeps well under it. He gets hot easily anyway and I get cold easily so I stay nice and warm under the down. If you get hot easily you might want to think about getting a comforter with less down fill or keeping the temp down low with this one. It is a pretty white so you will want to find a duvet cover to go over it to keep it clean. It is dry clean only or so the tag says. Finding a duvet cover is fun as there are many to choose from. This way you can change your bedroom according to the duvet cover of your preference.The fill is good in each square and it traps body heat in really well without cold spots. You don't have to worry about being poked with quills. I haven't seen any feathers escape the comforter. Did I mention that I lOVE IT! This comforter was everything they said. It's very warm, no smell, lofts up nicely. We have been very happy, comfortable and very toasty in it. The only downside that I have found is that the baffles do not continue completely down the length of the square. There's about 1-2" of opening where the baffle stops in every square. Because it is so small, it doesn't seem to allow the shifting of the down, that's why I still gave it five stars. Besides that minor issue, I have found no other problems with this comforter and love it very much.

This is the best down comforter ever!!! Very soft and lots of stuffing. much more than the one I bought at a local store. It is so cozy I won't share it with my husband! It's like curling up in a cloud.

The comforter cover is wonderful! The price was better than I'd found anywhere. The higher thread count is so important, especially if you have allergies. And it looks like a quality cover. Overstock also shipped the comforter cover on time.
