Pleasantly surprised!
I received this chest today, just four days after I placed the order! I opened the carton with a lot of trepidation, because it was roughed up when it arrived. Much to my amazement, there is not a single crack anywhere on the item, probably because of the styrofoam and wood in which it is packaged. The mirrors are not smoked or clouded; they are very clear and reflective. In one or two places, I noticed teeny flaws in the silver paint. The legs and knobs had to be assembled, which took all of five minutes. The item is a bit heavier than I thought, and a bit shorter, but it is sturdy and looks great. There is a lot of storage space. I plan on ordering another one, because they would look good in a pair.

Mirrored Cabinet
The mirrored cabinet is beautiful. The legs and areas of leg placement are labeled with a letter so during installation three sides of thre legs have visible mirrored sides. The manufacturer incorrectly sent two of the same legs (A & C and no B & D). I called the manufacturer and in three days the correct legs arrived at my home. The workmanship is great. I'm using the cabinet as a bedside table.

dalton mirrored cabinet
Ordered two to use as end tables in our family room. Perfect! Better than I had hoped. One cabinet arrived damaged and called overstock. A replacement was sent. That too was damaged but it is near the leg in the back and did not want to go through another replacement. Overall very happy with the purchase.

Beautiful accent piece
Perfect accent for my electric decor providing the contemporary piece to tie the room together with my gray walls and white trim. Very carefully packed for shipping!

Have Low Expectations & Buy it on Sale
I read all the reviews but decided I would risk it anyway. It is as described by others - very low quality product but pretty to look at. The only unexpected aspect was the horrible odor from the product. It took over a week of airing it out plus a strong air freshener to get rid of the horrible smell.

pretty from afar
defects in workmanship in product. Called Overstock customer service and they were quick to help me solve the problem. Had a question regarding a part on the piece and called the customer service of the manufacturer listed in the packing materials: that was a BAD idea. They were not friendly at all. Will not likely be buying anymore products from Dalton

Pretty but cheap
I shopped around for a while for mirrored furniture and found that It was very expensive. When I found these gems on Overstock I was thrilled, they were beautiful and affordable. I needed two for my all white bedroom on each side of the bed. They both arrived a few days later, however one of them had a huge crack on the top when we opened it. I immediately called Overstock customer service and they could not have been more accommodating and professional, I mean they were incredible. She told me to hold it for a few days as she would file a claim with ups, and sent me a brand new one that arrived within a few days. My husband assembled them both and they look beautiful in our bedroom. However they are not made very well...but you get what you pay for, if you are going for purely looks then these are perfect, if it's something you want to put in a child's room or main area where the use will be high I would not reccomend them.
