We were looking for some natural bamboo blinds that would allow some light into our very sunny dining room, but still allow us to see the view outside. We also wanted something that would go well with the various wood tones of our antique furniture and hardwood floors. These fit the bill perfectly and we are very pleased with our purchase. We're happy that these are made of sustainable bamboo as well. My husband is an engineer and thinks the brackets are well designed to be simple to install and adequately support the blinds. However, the wood trim on our windows is not very deep so it meant that the brackets over hang a bit. At first I didn't like this, but once the blind was installed it's hardly noticeable - just something to be aware of if you don't have very deep molding or trim to install them on (about 2"). The cords on the blinds seem to be a tiny bit thicker than some other roman blinds we have, which will hopefully make them more durable as we find cords tend to degrade in the sunlight. These are also available in two lengths, which is unusual for blinds at this price point, but great for us because we were able to order the shorter length for some of our windows and not have a thick unused portion at the bottom when they are open to the length of the window. As others have noted, these are a bit blonder than pictured and are not light blocking privacy blinds. This is fine with us and just what we were looking for.
