Do exactly what the info says abut measuring! I followed the instructions and some of my windows were a tiny bit bigger but if you order too big it won't even fit. So definitely order 1/4-1/2" smaller and it will look great. You can just move it to the middle and then there is a tiny space on each side that even I don't notice! (And things like that always bother me!) You CAN'T BEAT THE PRICE!----not anywhere! oh and I put these bamboo blinds from Overstock in every single window in my house, including on my mud room door (there was a clear half-lite window there). Be aware-these are not privacy shades if the lights are on and it's dark outside

I thought these blinds were a great value considering how expensive they typically are. We put one in the window over our kitchen sink and it looks amazing. It does not have a fabric backing, so it allows a bit of light in while allowing enough privacy. If you are putting these in a bedroom or bathroom and want TOTAL privacy, you may want to choose a different shade. We plan to order more for our kitchen...they're exactly what we needed!

I was extremely pleased with the quality, value and ease of installation of these shades. They are very attractive and exactly what I had hoped for. They go perfectly with my traditional living room decor and allow just the right amount of light through, while providing privacy. These shades will coordinate with a wide array of wood stain finishes. My wood finish is birch, but they would go with darker stains and also oak and pine. VERY NICE INDEED! I am ordering the same shades for other rooms in my home! I told my mother, mother-in-law and sister-in-law they should check them out, too. Thanks Overstock!

I purchased these blinds for my living room. They fit perfectly and look great. Installation was easy and straight forward. I'm not sure how sturdy the hardware is, so I help them up when I pull up the shades, as they are rather heavy at the bottom. But so far, they seem to be holding up well and they look great. Very happy with my purchase.

I BOUGHT THESE BAMBOO ROMAN SHADES FOR THE UPSTAIRS OF MY HOME. THEY WERE AFFORDABLE AND OF GOOD QUALITY. I FOUND THEM TO BE VERY EASY TO INSTALL AND THEY LOOK GREAT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THESE SHADES TO ALL MY FRIENDS.

I was excited to get the blinds, but was disappointed by the directions to put it up. Though it ended up being fairly easy, there were no pictures to guide us and we ended up putting them too far back into the window frame. Too late to change it, so it looks a little silly.
