These are beautiful shades, but they are not for privacy. You can see right throught them. They went up easily...I put up ten of them in one afternoon. Great price...I searched everywhere and couldn't find anything cheaper.

A little expensive for what you get. NOTE: These shades are not opaque. They will let in plenty of daylight when the sun is out, casting a diffused light in your room. They look best at night.

I was a little afraid to order bamboo shades sight unseen, but I'm very pleased with my new bamboo shades. The color in Overstock's description was correct, hanging them was no problem at all, and best of all, the price was excellent. I had prevoiusly searched no less than 30 sites, and Overstock had the best price by far.
