Remodeled kitchen and looking to update window valances for 5 windows. I love the look of bamboo products, I saw one on Overstock,but needed 3 different sizes, when I put the sizes in, i was thrilled to have many more sizes show up than what i originally saw. I needed 2 in this size and got them!

I use these shades for light filtering. If you are looking for light blocking these are not for you. Hung them in my living room to help with the bright sun during summer. I have these for the kitchen as well. No complaints.

These shades are a terrific finishing touch for my french doors. Comparable to the high end brand that would have cost the same price for one as I spent for all four! They did have a funny odor to them that wore off after a week, but that's the only criticism.

Pros: Inexpensive, convenient, easy to install. Cons: Translucent, cut uneven (slight waves on sides). These blinds look great but although I enjoy the natural sunlight that they allow in, at night they are translucent if I have a light on. Overall, I would recommend them to a friend but would warn them that they would not get privacy.

I love these shades. I have them in several rooms in my house, they look fabulous and nobody can believe I got them for this price. This shade in particular is a beautiful shade, not too dark, not drab, just warm and lovely. I get complements all the time. I also love all the different widths that are available, I got these for different sized windows in a sun room, and was able to purchase several 30in shades and a matching 16in shade in the same order. LOVE THEM!

We were looking for an affordable option to vertical blinds for the patio enclosure in the duplex we recently purchased. I hate vertical blinds - but what could we use that would provide some privacy between our patio and the neighbor, still allow light to filter through and not look like a Miami condo circa 1985? These blinds worked out perfect. We purchased four. They're roman bamboo shades, which are usually a little pricier, but these were so affordable we couldn't pass them up. Quality is decent - I don't know how long the lifting mechanism would hold out if you needed to put them up and down alot - for us this isn't an issue though because we plan to leave them down 99% of the time. Color is great, slightly off from the image on the screen, but hey, computer image to real life is never perfect. The only real complaint I have is the installation instructions. Instructions were only provided for inside mount installation and we needed outside mount installation. We weren't sure how to install on the outside with the hardware that was provided, but we eventually just googled outside mount blind installation and found the info we needed. In the end everything worked out and the new blinds look fab! Overall, I'd recommend these to others and I'd probably purchase them again.
