The exact length I needed wasn't available, and the O rep didn't know if they could be shortened. I'm here to tell you it's no problem. They will start to unravel quickly with handling, so have your hot glue gun ready. I love them, just the look I wanted, and way less expensive than custom ordering. I would think they could also be made narrower, although that would be more difficult, probably need an electric saw to make it uniform.

These are very good shades. I knew from reading reviews about bamboo shades that it would be see through. My husband put them up and said it was very easy to do. They pull up and go down very easily. They look very good. I don't think they look of cheap quality at all. We are pleased so far.

These blinds arrived very quickly and the color was what I expected it to be based on the website image. They look great and add nice texture to the room. My only criticism of the product is that the screws that come with it strip easily, so using better ones instead of the ones supplied will make for much easier installation. Also, the blinds don't provide privacy at night, so using them in conjunction with curtains or in rooms without a high need for privacy is recommended.

These are very nice and matched the description well. They do let in a lot of light so if you're putting them in a bedroom, you probably need to buy a roller shade too. They made the room look great and they were easy to install but our only issue with them was that a lot of light gets through, so for "light" sleepers, you need something else (like a curtain or shade) to block out morning sun.

I have been hunting for a shade to fit one window in my family room. Overstock was the only place to carry the size I needed at a reasonable price. It fits perfectly and looks wonderful.

I bought these shades for my spare bedroom and they are beautiful. They came quickly and were very easy to install. Good quality. I would definetly purchase them again for different rooms in my house.

They are nice, but one word of caution: the backside will not install over a completely flat surface. The way the shades raise and lower requires some back side "clearance" for hardware. We wanted to install them direclty on the top of a window frame, and instead had to lower them a bit and sort of rig the installation on the left and right edges of the window frame, so that the hardware in back fell within the recessed area of the window. You could also install them top-down inside a window frame, but ours was not deep enough to accomodate that. They still work, but for a few minutes there we thought we might have to return them. They look great, and aside from the fact they were not very well suited for our desired installation, they did actually go up fairly easily (once we figured out how to position them so they would work there.
