Perfect firm, comfortable mattress!
This mattress is the perfect size, firmness, weight and feel. I've been reading for months about baby mattresses and Consumer Reports, along with many other sources, say that Foam mattresses are better for several different reasons. We have a Graco Lauren crib. This mattress fits snugly in the crib, leaving virtually no space between railings and mattress. The mattress is light enough to still change the sheets with ease. Best price on the whole web was here at Overstock.

This Mattress is perfect for the crib that we purchased. The mattress is thick for a babies crib and there is little or no space on the sides so that my fear of my daughter being caught between the crib and mattress can go away.

Good quality mattress. It has a plastic cover, I didn't catch that when reading the description. You probaby wouldn't have to get mattress protectors with this one. Very lightweight-makes it easy to change sheets. The only disadvantage is the plastic cover makes a noise when you put you child to bed-sometimes wakes up my little one.

Does this even meet safety guidelines?
I purchased this mattress to use for our newborn while our toddler is still in her crib. Yes, I was looking to not spend a ton on a mattress, and this fit that bill, but I really wish I"d spent the money for something with higher quality. I figured there are safety standards in place & all crib mattress are about the same, right? Wrong. For one, the crib bumper slides down around the mattress all the way around the bed, which should not happen. There should be only a finger-width between the mattress & crib, and this clearly has way more than that. Also, this mattress has way too much give in it. With very little pressure, I can easily push the mattress in 3-4" from the side of the crib. I'm really worried that the baby could get an arm, leg, or worse, face stuck in between the mattress & crib. We may use this while the baby is immobile, but I definitely will not be using it for a baby that can move around. I am very disappointed in this product.

Seems Firm
We chose this mattress based on reviews that foam was better for safety and easier for changing sheets. It is very light weight and seems firm enough. I can see how some may think it is "soft" but I have to push down with considerable force to leave an indentation. We also purchased a Da VInci crib and the mattress fits perfectly with no gaps in between the crib and the mattress.
