Excellent
Great value for the $$. The bookshelf arrived quickly and with no hassle. We assembled it in about 1 hour. Drawer at bottom slide nicely. Adjustable shelves are easy to move. We lLooked at Ikea but their shipping made their similar product way out of the ballpark!

Great bookshelf for the price
I really like this bookcase... it looks very nice. I like that all but one shelf can be easily adjusted to my needs. The wood look is nice... the back of the book case is kind of flimsy, but it's the back and it appears nice. The drawer is a good usable size and rolls very smoothly... better than I expected. It was also pretty easy to assemble, but it took two people at some stages, about an hour total time. Of course, my husband had to stand it up and place it for me... it's fairly heavy. Overall, a great purchase!

Does the job, color deceiving
The shelf was a nice shape and size and easy to assemble. One side panel has some cracking from shipping but won't be a problem structurally. My major issue is this shelf is very off-white. I was hoping for a brighter white. The drawer on the bottom is nice but I replaced the knobs for nicer silver ones. If you don't mind the off-white, it's a pretty nice shelf.

Review
It's a beautiful piece. I would recommend it to a friend. It did have two good sized dings in the face as a result of shipping. It wasn't bad enough to pack back up and send back.

Repeat purchase
After buying and assembling two of these bookcases, I ordered a third. This is a great piece of furniture that took about a 1/2 hour to assemble (with a power drill/screw driver). We're very happy with this purchase.

The bookcase is satisfactory.Harder to put together than claimed The picture was only in white even though there was a choice of espresso,so I can't really say how it compares,I took a chance and it was satisfactory.I can say I have not been disappointed with whatever I have ordered from overstock and the items are always a good value.

good for the money
keeping it simple and sweet:Pro's: color is warm and rich, easy to assemble, solid and heavy, drawer is a nice bonus! , Cons: i don' like how you see the metal /silver screws from the front top shelf...this looks kind of cheap, i wish the bottom of the book shelf went down all the way to the floor on the sides. What happens is you have a gap on the side at the bottom where the drawer is. I think if the wood came all the way down and around the bottom it would look like a better quality piece of furniture. Overall, the price is great, and it serves its purpose. When comparing to Macy's and other furniture stores this one is the best by far.

Super Buy!
This is a sturdy bookcase and I'm not sure why it is considered "kid's furniture". I ordered it for my kitchen. Easy to assemle...1.25 hrs(husband and I)...only assembly issue was that the right and left sides of the bookcase weren't marked(instructions said they would be) I almost didn't buy it because of the "Antique white" description but I'm gkad I did!

Great bookcase, I bought two. Very heavy.
Nice heavy bookcase for the price. Delivery man complained about it being too heavy. I like the drawer at the bottom, nice extra..most bookshelves don't have. Going to fasten to wall, don't want it to fall over on anyone. Most of the shelves are stationary which adds to the sturdiness.

I had been looking for a bookcase for many many years,I landed upon this one and I am so impress , I am considering buying another asap. this book case is extremely sturdy and a beauti!!! A few scratches i think was through delivery but nothing to brag about.Reviews have always helped me when making a purchase- so I felt compelled to brag!! about this awesome item.
