Lovely lamp - an utter nightmare to put together
Description states that the lamp is delivered assembled which is so far from the true. It comes in two separate boxes. One holds the lamp shade and the other box contains the body of the lamps which is in complete pieces. You have to assemble the whole thing, down to the actual electrical components (snaking the wire through an extremely narrow metal pipe, connecting all the bulb socket pieces and wires). Oh and don't follow the very limited enclosed directions - they are completely wrong. I had to get someone to help me assemble the electrical pieces and the parts since one person could not do this job alone. It took us over two hours and some DW40 to grease the pipe. It was a nightmare. Not a great way to spend two and a half hours. Calling customer service to complain was not much better. I wouldn't suggest buying this lamp just for the customer service response alone.
