  I received these knives for Mother's day and used them to prepare dinner for my Mom that day. I don't know if it was my general excitement over the knives but I've never enjoyed cooking a large meal so much before!! Every time I go to use one I kiss my daughter and husband again. The weight, full tang, sharpness and balance make dicing, chopping and paring much easier. Ergonomic handle shape eliminates slipping and is very comfortable in my somewhat large hands. Hoping Santa brings me the block and cleaver!! Thanks Guy for a top quality toll for us foodie home cooks.

  The rack looks as it does online, so no problem there. The reason I only gave this item 3 stars was because when you pull the knives off the rack, the magnetic bars pull out with the knife. So you need to carefully pull the knife off while holding the rack with your other hand, so all the knives don't move. Hard to explain! This item is usable, though.

  Just love them , Needed a new set of knives and got these as a gift . I just love them, the handles are big and contoured they feel good in my hands, and they are o so sharp. The look real nice in the block on my counter.

  I haven't used it much but for those items I have it was efficient. I like my Kuhn Ricon knife better as it fits my hand best. I'm not sure how long it will hold it's edge but time will tell
