Run do not walk away from this product. Poor quality, poor workmanship and dated in appearance. The blinds are loud, ugly and arrived damaged. The blind that did work was loud, it squeaked with loud metalic sound with only one use. The large blind I ordered was heavy and required TWENTY holes to install. Do not suffer the frustration of long and difficult installation, even with experience putting up blinds. They are not worth a nickel. Do not buy these blinds they are not suitable for use in your home or any other structure.Read More

Another piece of China made junk, the lift mechanism is jammed and doesn't work. I have to leave them ion a down position all the time. No worth the hassle of taking them down and repackaging it for a return.Read More
The first time I ordered this blind it came as a 55". After we unpackaged it I realized and had to repack which is a pain! I sent that one back and tried again. The second was correct and fit perfect. I have ordered these for my whole house and they have made a huge difference, not just from the inside but the outside too.Read More

To replace vertical blinds in my kitchen.
How do I adjust blinds to fit a 40.5in length? The width is fine @ 51.75in.
Hi kisshorses, here is a step by step instruction on how to adjust the blinds http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=guEVgpcEitM Please let us know if you have any further question.
You are supposed to be able to take the 3 plastic pieces on the bottom blind apart and then carefully remove the number of slats that you need to remove. Remember to hold on to the strings at the bottom and tie them tightly through the bottom before you replace the plastic. I learned the hard way and the last one broke loose. I don't think there's a way to put it back together on the mechanical part. Otherwise, its usually very easy to shorten the length.
can these be cut to 45" wide?
This item can be cut to 45 inches, but we do not recommend it unless you have previous experience with cutting blinds.
