These work fine - they are not room darkening but perfect for privacy.

What can I say? They're faux wood and they were priced reasonably. Shipped in a heartbeat.

i was disappointed to open these blinds and see 'brown plastic' slats. They look very plastic-y in the cherry color i ordered. i guess i should have known faux wood is not going to look like wood. they would probably be alright in the white options, but it's just hard to make plastic look like stained wood. these are going back.

By the look and weight of these blinds, you would never guess they are "faux" wood. I chose the "pearl white" hoping it would match my bathroom which has cream colored tiles and ivory painted walls. THEY MATCH PERFECTLY. The color is not too yellow, but not a true white either. I will definitely order more for other rooms in my home. And, as always--YOU CAN'T BEAT THE SHIPPING AT OVERSTOCK!

These blinds are beautiful to look at and beautifully made. I immediately ordered another one for another room. My hubby does remodel for the "nicer" homes in town and he was very impresses with the quality of this blind. I highly recommed this blind.
