I laid this pad out overnight before trying to place my carpet on it. I really helped. I did it alone and only had to adjust it three times. It fit within a half inch all the way around my carpet, no trimming needed and when i want to move the carpet a little, the pad comes right along for the ride. It has enhanced the carpet by 100% and the carpet (bought on Overstock) was already fab!!! Now it is really fab! It is far superior to the Department Store quality pads. Don't hesitate to get it, but don't get discouraged if it doesn't lay flat right away, just lay it out overnight and you will be amazed what a difference installation will be.

This is the greatest under pad I've bought(and I've bought a lot). It's so thick that it will make any rug feel wonderful.

What a great value! My research on the internet showed this rug pad to be recommended by the Good Housekeeping Institute. Other internet retailers are charging up to double the price I paid on Overstock.

I purchased this pad for my 8 x 11 silk carpet after checking many local stores. None of the stores carried it. Both the price and quality of this product are very good. We are using it on wood floor and it is serving its function well. In the description of the product, I wish they would mention the thickness. This kind of pad is not meant to provide the cushioning effect that people expect from a regular wall to wall carpet padding.

This pad is very soft yet flexible and it holds the wool rug in place perfectly. Like noted in other reviews, it does tak a day or two to flatten out but after that it works great.

I really wanted something to add some cushion under our living room area rug. This pad keeps the rug in place on the tile floor, but doesn't really make the rug any cushier. I have a pile rug though... if it were a woven rug I might be able to feel the pad.

I needed a large rug mat for my new rug in the dining room. I couldn't find one locally so I got onto overstock and found what I thought I was looking for. It was just perfect. Now the rug looks and feels so much better with a bit of cushion under it.

I've had the rug pad for over 6 months. The thickness of the pad, I believe, is what will really help increase the longevity of the rugs. It feels very comfortable to stand on the rug with this thick pad

Nice job, Overstock! The pads lie flat and were able to be cut to size. I bought two rugs and two pads f(or the front and back decks,) and I love them! I hope that they will last well. The delivery was prompt (and reasonable!)

This is much better than the plain non-slip. Much thicker and makes your rug feels thick and plush.

Good price for a well-made rug pad. It was a little tricky to get it flat & roll the rug over it, but it layed down nicely after a couple weeks. It makes the rug look better & now it doesn't slide all over the hardwood floor! Prices elsewhere are much higher.

Nice product. Edges a little uneven and needed a little trimming. Adheres to our hardwood floor very well. Recommended--would buy another.

Perfect rug liner for staying put under rug. It is a good weight - heavy enough to enhance the rug, but not too heavy.
