      I ordered this to place beneath an area rug on my ceramic kitchen floor. I purchased one slightly larger than the rug and cut it down a couple of inches on two sides. It is working fine. This pad is doing a great job, preventing the rug from sliding around on the floor. I am also finding, it helps keep dirt from getting under the rug. I previously had a rug with backing and had no need for a pad, but dirt would collect under it over a period of a couple of days.

      I paired these pads with my two Primavera Wool Kitchen rugs(3'10"x 6'). Placing these over my vinyl flooring has been the perfect solution for securing my rugs from dangerous slipping. Good value !

      This non-slip rug pad works very well. It really keeps the rug in place even when my dog slides into it. I don't really feel any more cushioning with it, but I don't mind.
