I ordered this to place beneath an area rug on my ceramic kitchen floor. I purchased one slightly larger than the rug and cut it down a couple of inches on two sides. It is working fine. This pad is doing a great job, preventing the rug from sliding around on the floor. I am also finding, it helps keep dirt from getting under the rug. I previously had a rug with backing and had no need for a pad, but dirt would collect under it over a period of a couple of days.

Did not work very well. It was difficult to use under the rug. It keeps coming loose.

This non-slip rug pad works very well. It really keeps the rug in place even when my dog slides into it. I don't really feel any more cushioning with it, but I don't mind.

I recently put in hard wood floors in my living room. So, naturally then I had to purchase a run or two to anchor certain parts of the room. What I didn't think about was that those rugs would slip and slide on the hard wood floors! So, I purchased this non-slip rug pad for floors. And, it worked like a charm! No more slipping and sliding. It holds the rug in place!

I found this non-slip cushion just a bit too flimsy although the price was comparable.

Believe it or not the rug still slips on the floor. Not really the quality of a floor rug pad I have had in the past. Not really using it.

Does the job. We have it on a tile floor and the rug does not go anywhere. It is very easy to cut to size.

I have bought this rug pad for the hall ithat is very busy area in our house. I have three small size rugs there, so I treamed the pad that I bought to get the right size. It was pretty easey to do. I am very happy with this purchase. Please note that there are just two of us in the house. We do not have any pets or children. I do not know how it will work if you have them. For two of us this pad works pwrfectly! I will buy more when I need it. Very, very good product!

Really works well, even had enough to just put some small sections cut off that didn't need under some other rugs. It does what it says keeps the rug from slip and sliding around. Used on wood floors I think will also help with friction from rug damaging floors. Should have tried sooner just did not think would make that much difference but it does.

this non-slip mat works perfectly. I have wood floors and it stopped my rug from moving around at all. I recommend cutting it a little smaller than the rug you are putting it under though, maybe 1/4" all the way around. I cut mine to the exact size of the rug and after some use, the edges of the mat peek out from under the rug a tiny bit on two of the sides and now need to be trimmed a touch. Save yourself a little hassle and trim it right the first time!

I brought a rug from overstock also. I put the non stick rug pad under it and it was easy to cut to the right size. It adds the extra thickness when standing on the rug and also keeps it right where I want it. Good buy compared to local stores.

I have hardwood floors with oriental rugs. I thought this pad would prevent the rug from slipping, but I was wrong. It has not improved the situation at all. The claim that it is non-slip does not appear to be true as both the rug and this pad move on the hardwood floors. It appears that this product is of inferior quality and has a plastic feel to it. I would not recommend this product to anyone!

I used this for my runner-just cut it in half. It works great.

This non-slip pad couldn't be any better! My rug on the slippery hardwood floor hasn't budged since I got the pad considering all the activities that occur on it (pets, babies, entry hall rug). It even provided a cushioned feel, which I was not expecting at all. Going to purchase another one for another rug in the house! Would recommend this to anyone.
