The product does keep the rug from slipping but it is not 100% effective, the rug still moves a little over time. It does add some extra cushioning which is nice.

Pads were as represented and worked really well . I was able to cut to size of various runners and rugs

I received this non slip pad a few days ago, i must say that my foyer is high traffic with all the little people that are in my home. Ever since I placed the mat under the runner, it has not budged once. I do wish it was a little longer, at least the lenght of the runner. Nevertheless i think its great, I am very pleased with this purchase.

i have purchased many many brands and kinds of these types of rug pad non slip runners, this one was very thin and not very cushioney , the price was very expensive for such a small one 2 feet by 8 feet long, for the quality such poor quality, and on some of the areas where i have used it the carpet still slips and slide around where i used it, i already had one under that area rug and it was slipping so i bought this new one to cut down to size and sure enough this one slips and slides all over, i dont know what to do i washed the area underneath very well but yet it still slipping , the ohter part i used in the bathroom for a very expensive large bathroom rug that the backing got ruined so far that one is not slipping because the bathroom floor doesnt slip with rugs or cushioined pads, not a good choice, you can buy this size in stores for about the same price, if not less or a few bucks more so overstock didnt work , no money saved and poor quality.....most products i buy from overstock goes more towards the high scale side but there are items that i would send back but im tired of sending so much back and having to either pay return shipping or wait almost a month for the credit, i still for some reason love overstock.com, i think im addicted to it cause it sells almost everything you dont have to go to a million sites and the price on shippping and handling is what saves you so much money , especially if you buy alot at one time, but you take you chances, and quite a few items i have been thrilled to the max others i have just kept and took the loss , but however there customer service dept is great they really work well and easy with you with the live chat

The backing of my thick custom hall runner was slipping and shedding on the floor. This flat runner adds no height--I don't need it--but keeps the rug in place and should help protect the underside.

This was much smaller than I anticipated. Don't know if I mismeasured or if it was the mat, but this should have worked out correctly for two 2' x 3' rugs I bought. After cutting for the first mat, there was only a 2' x 1' piece left. Something's wrong with that!

Well, the price was right, but it is not non-slip! I put it under a seven foot long hall runner and find I have to straighten the rug several times a day. It does, however, protect the wood finish from the rug's underside, which can frequently scratch floor finishes. Next time, I would pay more to get a rug pad that performs as advertised.

The product came real fast and in good shape. It is very easy to cut to size and it keeps my rugs in place on my wood floor . So far no marks have been left on my wood floors due to the product and it has been down for a month.

Every time my dog would run through the hallway my rug would move on my hardwood floor. Since I bought the non-slip rug pad my rug stays put. It also gives the rug more depth and the rug feels softer to walk on. I read one review that said they didn't hold the rugs..wrong. I am so glad I bought the rug pad.

I have noticed that my runner slips much less using this pad, however, it does still slip and require repositioning.

This works great to keep my rug in one place. We have hardwood floors, without this the rugs slides all over. Not very padded (don't notice its under there) but does the trick

Makes the runner sit really tight on my hardwood floor. NO SLIPPING whatsoever! I taped my rug to the rug pad with some rug tape, I don't think it really needs to be done though. I only did it to make it lessen the hassle of having to re-positioning my runner each time I flip it up to vacuum under it or take it out to sun.

I bought this rug pad in a 2 x 8 size for a runner. It works fine---adds some cushioning and keeps the rug from slipping on my wood floor. It was easy to cut with the scissors. The price from Overstock.com was great.

A bit thinner than rhe one in the picture....and others I have bought but seems to have a better grip on both the floor and rug. I have a dog who loves to turn the corner a break-neck speed and I don't have to constantly reposition the rug. I definitely will get more.

Doesn't hold my rug in place. Cheap workmanship. Not worth the cost I paid for the product. Save your money!

These work just fine. I had to cut off the ends just a little to fit my rugs. Free delivery made it easy to order.

The non-stick rug pads I ordered arrived quickly and are working well to keep my rugs in place. Quality is very good and it is nice to know my hardwood floors are being protected.

The rug is good quality, with a dense, thick pile. The colors are as expected from the information provided on the website. Truthfully, the colors are more complex than I expected - shading for example. It seems to be pretty high quality. The rug pad is fine - works well in high traffic areas (I cut it and use it with several rugs). I have no regrets - good quality overall.
