Arrived damaged
Because of poor packaging, the product arrived damaged--deep scratches in the surface. That wasn't Overstock's fault, but it is something to make note of. Wherever it was packaged, it wasn't done well. The rod is in a plastic sleeve, much like you'd buy it from a retail store. That was put into a long box with no packing materials at all. The rod is of average quality. I'd say it's a good buy, but if you want something to stand out and look great, this isn't going to be it. In my case, the rod was to be hung at ceiling height so it wasn't important. However, the very obvious scrapes in the finish made me return it. Overstock, as always, provided excellent customer service.
