We were pleased with the price and look of these but there is no way they can hold a lined panel, much less two lined panels. This is best used for sheers and light, unlined cotton or silk. If we had chosen to stick with the heavy drapes they would have had to been sent back. However we modified the plan and kept the hardware and are now searching for lightweight drapes.

This rod looks great. It is very lightweight and just what I needed for lightweight cotton curtain panels. It looks great, was shipped fast and is definitely priced right.

rods come with three pieces to give best support. I needed that for long lined cotton/linen curtains. Installation was a breeze using your brackets and our screws. Your screws were too short for the weight and use our curtains will get. It was an extra step but not a problem with my husband's well stocked workshop. The brackets need longer, stronger screws.

I got the finials in black and they are more beautiful in person than the picture shows. Very heavy, high quality craftsmanship. I used them with cotton velvet drapes and they really make a statement. I will be ordering the grapes with leaves finials next for my entryway tapestries!! Price through Overstock.com was also the best that I found for this manufacturer.

Delivery was fine. The curtain rod is a bit lightweight. We have 4 cotton panels (48x84) hanging on it and hope it will hold. I wish Overstock listed how much weight the rod will bear.

I had a couple of alcoves that a regular curtain rod would not fit into so this rod was the perfect solution. Had to screw it in because the curtains were a heavy cotton twill but that was not difficult and the results look like a custom fit rod.

I recently purchased a very special home located in a historical distric of my city. Every detail was thought out when decorating my place. I have 2 huge beveled double doors in my kitchen leading out to my garden and pond and I had cream organic cotton window panels made to soften the room. This rod was PERFECT for this window treatment. Stunning. I will have to say that you will definately need someone who knows what they are doing to hang these because they are heavy and all pulled out of my wall. I alos have this same brand but with the different finial choice that I ordered also from Overstock for my bedroom and every single rod pulled out of the wall. Otherwise, these look as if I payed $300 a set for them. You won't be disappointed.

No bowing, it is sturdy, hold weight very well. My curtains are 100% cotton panels and since my windows are very wide, I needed a rod that can easily holds 4 panels without bowing. This is it! Stylish and totally fuctional, that is my kind of decor!

I searched for several months for an affordable, but high quality window rod set to fit my triple window. (I prefer wood rods and the options I initially considered cost $400-$700 for the triple window hardware and rings.) Based on my good history on Overstock with window hardware - and the other reviews for this product on Overstock - I purchased it. I realized (from other reviewers) that I would need better anchors than the ones provided. However, I had more trouble than I expected. First, we tossed the included anchors and upgraded to 50lb anchors for all three mounting brackets (which should be 150lb of weight, right?). Within 10 MINUTES OF HANGING the curtains, the brackets were literally pulling out of the wall. I was shocked and disappointed. At that point - and with six holes in the wall (and no studs) - we purchased 100lb anchors to support the brackets. The heavier supports DO WORK, but they diameter of the screw is larger than the hole in the mounting bracket. So, we had to ask a friend with a drill press to enlarge the holes a bit. Now that it is all said and done, I am very pleased with this set. But all the warnings about insufficient anchors provided in the set are 100% true. Be prepared to deal with this problem in installation. I would also suggest that you hang only lightweight curtains on this rod set. I have custom curtains in a cotton blend that are lined with a (non black-out) brushed lining. I do love the finish of the set! I would recommend it as long as you are fully aware that you will deal with installation issues.
