  These are great little cups and they fit perfectly in my espresso maker. I originally bought 1 set and liked them so much I bought another.

  Devil is in the details. It took four shipments to get the ONE item/ set I ordered. Each subsequent shipment had replacement parts for items broken in transit - by BAD packing at the origination site, not the delivery service, I want to make that clear. So, I doubt this review will be posted, or the staff of the company will respond by planting rebuttals to my real findings, not the staff's imagined ones. That said, although not all pieces perfectly match, I accept that with hand-made China. The color was presented as white, but the color is closer to off white- which makes a difference if you are serving things like expresso or capp at a dinner party - the guests notice. In several attempts to make returns, the main site staff wouldn't even give me an address - just said to throw away what I was unhappy with - that was unexpected and disappointing. Wouldn't recommend but not placing the weight on the original company - Overstock seemed to not want me to really have contact with them,...

  I GAVE THESE CUPS AS A GIFT. THE RECEIVER LOVE THEM FOR THE QUALITY AND SIMPLICITY OF THE CUPS AND SAUCERS. I AM GOING TO PURCHASE THEM FOR MYSELF.

  Solid, heavy, substantial, and thick cups, made in Germany. The size, 6 oz., is accurate. The company sells other styles that hold more.

  I love these cups and saucers. Exactly what I was looking for. They are just the right size for my espresso maker coffees. They fill to 6 oz. about a half inch from the top. That leaves room for the whipped cream or foamed milk. very pleased with this purchase. I intend to buy another set.
