Item was shipped promptly. It was easy to assemble. Looks very nice. Our heat was not working properly that time and this fireplace made a big difference. Our room is very big but you could feel nice heat anyway.
How often do you shop at Overstock.com? First time
From far away, it looks decent. Up close, the seams do not line up well. One piece was just slightly too short so there is a gap and the screw is showing. The faux marble (emphasis on faux) looks like contact paper. The heating element does not heat up a room. This is worth half its price.
The fireplace is perfect for the parlor in my home. Although it is the only new item in the room, it blends beautifully with all the antique furniture and accessories. It heats up the room quickly and quietly lending extra coziness. The woodgrain is rich in appearance, and the faux marble is very realistic looking. It actually took longer to unpack it than it did to put it together. I shopped around before I ordered it and found I counldn't beat the price. In a couple of words, I'm "well pleased".
