Toaster is white so it shows all the grime. Whoever reconditioned it did not clean the grime off from around the knobs or the display panels (kinda gross if you ask me!). The inside was clean and the toaster seems to work fine. Don't think I would buy a reconditioned toaster again after this.
How often do you shop at Overstock.com? Few times a year
It burns toast black in the two slots on the right. The two left sided slots work as long as you set it on the lightest setting. Anything above a 2 also burns on the left. Since it was a gift, the recipient merely said Thank you.
Several weeks later I visited the recipient/family member and used the toaster myself. It was then that I discovered that the product should really been returned for a refund.
It is attractive, pops up nicely, the levers work smoothly. But that is not the primary purpose of a toaster.
I still like this website and will continue to shop here. Their quick delivery is excellent.
