Great Toaster Oven
epkpedi  from chelmsford, ma,  Mar 16, 2009
This toaster oven was highly rated by a consumer magazine. It is an excellent value for the price from Overstock.com. The unit toasts better than most toasters. It makes a terrific accessory oven. It cooks evenly and quickly because of its convection function. The only negative was that as a refurbished product there was some permanent smudges on a few of the buttons. I consider that a small price to pay for the value.

Falling Apart
beckycooks2  from Atlanta, GA,  Mar 8, 2009
I've owned this toaster oven for about 8 years. It starts out very nice and cooks quite effectively. However, after a couple of years, the black paint started chipping off of the front. The stainless steel also started getting blotchy and dull. Then the black plastic that covers the electronic panel started chipping and breaking apart. Now, to turn on the oven, I have to actually push the metal knob that is located under the plastic panel because the entire section chipped away. Also, the oven is very difficult to clean. The front door gets crumbs trapped underneath and the only way to clean it is to slide a paper towel covered knife back and forth and pry the crumbs out. My first toaster oven lasted for 20 years. Maybe I'm expecting too much for this one to last, but I will not buy this product again.

Works great
iamb  from Portland, Oregon,  Jan 4, 2009
I just made a baked potato using the convection oven feature and it made the most perfect baked potato I've ever had. It also makes perfect toast. It is very easy to use, has nice features and looks good. I've recommended it to a number of people.

great buy
swimmer4  from Tennessee,  Nov 2, 2008
HI, our new Cruisanart arrived within days of placing the order. Does not look as though it has been used at all. Very shiny and went together easily. Works great and now our bagels are nicely toasted and our foods cook faster!

Buns in the Oven
middlggrove  from Saratoga Springs,  Oct 24, 2008
This is a great product with a large oven. The convection aspect of the product is an added bonus. Well made. Just don't understand why the crumb tray pulls out from the back. Woudl highly recommend!

Nice Cruisinart Oven!
mspeasley  from Canton, Oh,  Feb 28, 2008
I love my newCrusinart oven. It's smaller than my previous one but has the same amount of cooking space inside. With our old one we only used it for toast or to re-heat foods like pizza to keep the crusts crispy. You can bake in this one. This is a nice sturdy small oven with many cooking possibilities.

Great product
rsover  from Midwest,  Feb 17, 2008
I searched both the internet and retail stores and am very happy with this Cuisinart Toaster Oven. Although it was a refurbished model, only the price and a few scratches on the button pad reflect that fact. The rack and boiler tray were new and the entire oven was in great shape. The instructions are easy to read and concise so no lengthy reading. Using the oven is intuitive even without the instructions and there are some very good recipes in the back of the book. We have had the oven for just over a month and so far it seems a very durable product that we use just about every day. My family is very happy with this purchase.

This unit takes up very little more space on the counter than my tiny former toaster oven, yet toasts evenly, is easy to use after checking out the manual, and is large enough for all my casserole or roasting dishes except the giant ones for parties or bigger groups. It doesn't produce a lot of heat on the outside; therefore i don't burn myself if I bump into the side or put something on top while the unit is on. The accompanying pan and broiler rack are high quality and easy to clean.

Toaster Oven
parker23se  from DC,  Feb 11, 2008
Wanted to dump the toaster for something more versatile. This was way over the other toaster ovens I've seen and used. Electronic programming and actual temperature settings make this an effective kitchen tool.

I had enough of the $40 cheapy toaster ovens and thought I'd step up to an oven that I'd use more than just to melt stuff with cheese on top. So far I'm pleased with the accuacy of maintaining a tempature. The convection setting is an added bonus that allows even heating and crisps what you'd normaly fry nicely.

A Disappointment
micki1010  from Darrington WA,  Feb 6, 2008
Nice looking but poor quality. Broiler pan warped immediatly and will not be usable. Toasts nicely and convention feature is quick. Too much trouble to send back. This is the second kitchen item in which I have had disappointment.

High Price
dm2008  from TX,  Feb 1, 2008
Not sure it's worth the high price tag. Cooks and toasts slowly. Tray should pull out when door is opened. Also, I thought I was buying refurbed, but it looked used to me. Did not even have original box. Would probably not buy from overstock.com again for this reason.

So far so good
Anonymous  from Atlanta, GA,  Jan 28, 2008
I have been using this toaster oven for a month and so far it has performed very well. I was apprenhensive about ordering a "Refurbished or Reconditioned Product" but it arrived in very good condition, with only 2 very small almost unnoticeable dents at the top back corner. Otherwise the appearance was like brand new. The price savings was well worth living with the dents. One word of advice about bread toasting. I use a dense multigrain bread which is stored in the freezer. it took a few tries to get the setting right (it has a defrost/toast setting) but my toast is very acceptable. I have not used convection cooking yet. The shipping time was excellent and once again I was very pleased with my Overstock purchase.

Versatile and Well-Made
poetmotion  from Oakdale, CA,  Jan 25, 2008
My wife and I are recent empty-nesters, so this toaster oven is great for preparing smaller meals now that our sons are off on their own. The workmanship of this oven is very good and the versatility of its capabilities is impressive. It is capable of doing everything from making toast to cooking a small casserole to baking a small frozen pizza. I do have one complaint, but it has nothing to do with the oven itself. It's pretty clear that this is a reconditioned product because the oven was rather hastily and unprofessionally packaged before shipping. It was not in its original container and--for a moment--we did not think all of the oven shelves and attachments had been included (but after a thorough search we found them). That's a nit against Overstock, not Cuisinart. All in all, I am happy with this purchase and would certainly recommend this oven.
