I was reluctant to purchase a refurbished appliance as this usually means it was returned for one reason or another, but I couldn't be happier. This is truely a convection steamer and steams in half the time as my old steamer. The covection fan is a little noisy but once you see how quickly it steams it doesn't seem that noisy anymore. Tamales steamed in half the time as usual and it has quickly become a standard means for preparing all vegetable side dishes.
I just bought this product, and I was a little concerned about it because it said "refurbished". It is actually like new and works just as advertised.I am really happy with the fast and delicious results. It is also easy to clean up.
