Have been researching stainless steel cookware sets that do not have the "nonstick" coating. Those artificial surfaces tend to flake off into your food and I do not want to consume that. The Cuisinart name is well respected and this set offers many sizes of cooking capacity and cooking surfaces. It is being purchased as a gift to nudge friends into tossing their "cancer cookware" with scratched black (flaking off) cooking surfaces. I am very excited - hope they are!
