I really like the sturdiness and size of this unit. It is not too tall, so it fits under most cabinets. The base is broad, so the unit will stand up in a refrigerateor without worry of it tipping over. Plus it looks nice. Functionally, I had no problem turning ice into a icy slush, perfect for punches or alcoholic beverages. And it did it fast with minimal noise and no vibration. The handle and base to the pitcher are made of plastic which worries me about the long-term life, especially if you are a little clumsy. The glass pitcher is very sturdy and has nice, clear measurements marked on the front and back. I really like the fact that its short stature makes it easy to store with the pitcher (or chopper) on the base.

Very nice product. easy to use and I love the food processor. The processor is not for large meals but easy to use, quick to set up and clean. The only issue I noted is the blender base being plastic and is not as sturdy as I would preffer, but I have used it a bunch and it is holding up well.

I recieved my Quisinart Blender/ Food Processor combo and was shocked that it was a refurbished unit. it looks so new & It works great! my husband loves making his Hummas and Falafel with ithe food Proceesor. I love making my fruit smoothies with the blender.The price was perfect as my mom wanted to buy it for me for Christmas and she is on a fixed income.

My new blender/food processor came yesterday. I have not tried all the functions yet, but the ones I did use so far worked beautifully. I like the real glass blender container. The sturdiness of the base makes it easy to use without tipping over. The motor has a smooth sound and is less noisy than some of the ones I have had in the past. I rated the durability as average because it just arrived yesterday, but the quality of workmanship leads me to believe it will last a long time.

I bought a refurbished Cuisinart blender / food processer combo from Overstock .com and have been thrilled with it from day one. First of all it looked brand new and it works like it's brand new. I got it for much less than I would have had to pay for the same product had it really been new and never used before. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants a great deal. I've made frozen drinks with it, and fresh salsa, sliced potatoes and chopped onion with it far and have been very happy with the results. It's a lot of bang for the money! Good Job, Overstock.com!

this is the second refurb product i have purchase and it is the second one that is defective. the price is great and the product would be wonderful if it didnt leak. but it is large and bulky and will be a major pain to repackage and return. the coffemaker i bought previously which also leaked was so bulky i just threw it away and ate the cost. the blender was fabulous on doing ice, probably be a fabulous product if it didnt leak.

Very happy with this product. It works better than any other blender I've ever had. It actually crushes ice completely - no stray chunks. However, it hardly looks like new. I realize it's "refurbished," but the base had scratches all over it. So, I keep it hidden under the counter when not in use. I definitely feel I got my money's worth.

I've had the blender a couple of weeks so I can't yet comment on its durability, but other than that love it. Yes, LOVE IT! It chops thru ice well and has simple yet, effective controls. Looks nice on the countertop with stainless appliances. Overstock was speedy quick in getting it delivered. Nicely packaged too. We've been making smoothies and saving a ton off the store-bought ones.

I have been looking for the right food processor for months and I knew that I wanted a Cuisinart. When I found this one on Overstock I was very excited, though concerned about it being refurbished. My concerns were put to rest as soon as I opened the box. The product looked brand new and I have already used the blender and processor and both work like a dream! Thanks Overstock for a great product at a great price!

I was hesitant to purchase a refurbished model but it is perfect so far. All the pieces look brand new and it functions as I would expect it. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Great space saver and the attached food processor is just as good as their regular food processor just a little bit smaller. It handles making raw food dishes for a single person or party very easy and works great! This is what I purchased it for. The black big base is not as attractive but the motor is very strong and gets the job done! Highly recommended. (Could not even tell it was refurbished!) Overstock also did a great job refurbishing it!

The item came packed like new. After unpacking I could not find one blemish or indication of prior use. The plastic parts were obviously brand new. I have been using the blender function to make yogurt based smoothies and it is quiet and poweful. It compliments the Cuisenart Stainless coffee maker I bought refurbished about 4 years ago from O and it also continues to work good.

Having read the other reviews, I had my concerns but after I unwrapped the box, I was at ease. Not one scratch, all wrapped in plastic and cardboard as if it were new, packed neatly in a manufacturer box (clearly marked refurbished). Not sure why someone would give a refurb product as a wedding gift but as a home purchase, you can't beat it. Sturdy and solid. I am not concerned that I might knock it over and break it. I do love the fact that it is shorter than other blenders so it fits neatly on my counter. Haven't tried the food processor yet but I don't think I'll be disappointed. Don't think I'll need to use it but just as an FYI, a refurb only has a 90 day warranty.

This is a very sturdy, heavy blender--if I didn't know it was a refurbished product I would think it's new. Works great. I gave 4 stars (instead of 5) for durability & workmanship b/c have only had it a few weeks & don't know how it will fare over time. Overall, it's a high quality product at a great price.

The Cuisinart I ordered seems to be just like new, even though it is "reconditioned." It came with all the accessories, and in a new package, intact. It's only been used, so time will tell if it really is as good as new. So far, we're very pleased.

I am very pleased with this item. I love the fact that it is a blender and food processor in one. The blending options are minimal but do the job and well. The blender jug is made out of heavy glass and the food processor is plastic. I love glass because it looks better and feels of good quality but wonder if plastic would have been better for non-breaking purposes. Overall I LOVE it!!! =)

I received this item in a fairly decent time frame. The item was packaged well, but after removing all the wrapping I found that the item really looked "refurbished." The fake chrome paint on the handle was chipped off in several places and the chrome paint no longer looked silver, it appeared to be more of a gold color. Other than the cosmetic flaws, the product does shave ice and chop nicely. For the price of this refurbished item, you get what you pay for....

Purchased as a Christmas gift so has not been used yet. I am disappointed in this purchase simply because the item was not listed as "Refurbished" on the website. We found out it was refurbished only when opening the box. Blender only has a 90 day warrenty. I thought (apparently inaccurately) that I was purchasing a NEW blender. Website SHOULD specify whether NEW or REFURBISHED.
