Nice little grill. It isn't huge, but it does the job with no smoke or fumes and minimal mess. We used it to make grilled sandwiches and chicken breasts so far and look forward to using it again.

Smaller than it appears I would only recommend with the explaining of size. I believe the price was a bit high for the size. You can only do one sandwich at at time and it cools down so fast that the green light goes out and you have to wait for it to reheat. So if you want to make a lunch for 4 it will take time and the first one might get cold waiting. If it is for one or two people it will work. I am glad I bought it with the $20 off $150 otherwise I would not have been happy about full price. I still love overstock they have the most amazing customer service I have ever experienced. Other companies could learn from their department. Arrival time is amazing. Thank you overstock.

I hated the George Foreman grill I had and just now took it out and threw it in the garbage. I want something with removable grill plates (sure they're nonstick, but not really in the long run, and being able to soak them means gentler cleaning) and an integrated drip tray that's small and well made. I live alone and don't need but the smallest one. I don't have to heat up the oven, it cooks on both sides at once, drains the fat, and with the lid, there is no spattering. I might try panini, don't really eat that. But this looks like the grill for me, and it should fit okay in the cupboard when not in use. Though in truth, I used the other (hateful) one at least a couple of times a week.

are the measurements shown for the griddler wide open or folded to use as a contact grill? One commenter said she could only grill one sandwich at a time. I am confused looking at the picture of it that looks bigger than that.
