This is the best electric tea pot. I love it. Friends always ask where I got it. I would buy it again.

Got this to replace one we had for over ten years. This tea pot operates so well, giving us hot water much faster than putting water on the stove! With all the safety features, I don't have to worry about my wife "forgetting" it on the stove and burning up another pot.

I love that with a simple click down of the button I can start heating my water for my morning hot tea. Within minutes (depending on how much water is in the kettle) the water is hot and ready to pour. The red "on" indicator light is helpful. I believe that the Cuisinart Electric Tea Pot looks attractive on my kitchen counter. Thanks..I love it!

After visiting the UK i looked for a tea kettle for my mom. She is thrlled. It heats water faster than the microwave- and 4 times as much in the same amount of time

As usual, refurbished means that someone opened the box, realized they already had one, and put it back in the box for a return. This electric kettle has worked flawlessly so far and it looks so much better than the old junky plastic one we had before.

It is a bit overpriced , but it heats water quickly, and the cordless feature is very convenient . To my surprise, the finish does not spot or show fingerprints, so it always looks nice. The only drawback is you have to be very careful that the lid is firmly affixed. Otherwise it has a tendency to come off when pouring.

We bought this as a gift for a family member. She uses it often and likes it very much.

This is so much better than boiling water on the stove. It's fast, convenient and easy to use and care for. Just fill the kettle, place on the base, flip the switch down and in a few minutes the water is boiling and the unit switches itself off automatically. No more burnt pots. The base is well designed with a cord minder built into the bottom so only the necessary cord is visible. I highly recommend it. Buying from Overstock.com is a painless experience. It arrived well packed and on time.

This electric teapot does exactly what I need it to. It sits on the counter and heats water quickly. The only difficulty I have is that the lever to turn it on sometimes gets hit accidently - but I'm just careful to always leave water in it and then it shuts itself off automatically. There are some electric teapots which require you to push the lever up instead of down for just this reason. I like the stainless finish. It's durable and quick. It's definately a value - if you look in a store it's almost double the price.

I've had the tea pot for maybe a month, this morning it would not work. Picked it up and realized the bottom of the kettle was melted, this is a refurbished product. Obviously it had a major flaw. Now I need to see was costumer care is like...Keep you posted.

I am a constant tea drinker, and I only recently started looking into an electric kettle because I'm getting ready to move to a place with a gas range, and worried about setting my sleeves on fire, as much as I'm always boiling water. I did ALOT of looking, and this kettle is more like a "real" tea kettle than most of the other models. Well, I am in love! It arrived right when the heat wave hit and I was making lots of iced tea. No steam, no wasted heat. So fast! It has no whistle, which I thought I would miss, but it is so fast you don't need it. I will never be without one of these again. I have had good luck with 2 other reconditioned Cuisinart items, and so far this works great. Of course, I will probably wear it out before most people. That's why this really is a good deal. Works, looks pretty and the price is right. There is nothing more you need from electric tea pot. We use it in the office.

This heats watter really fast. Shuts off when water boils or when no water left. I loive it!

I have purchased two. Absolutely the most used and greatest appliance we have in both our kitchens. It has been wonder ful for my 86 year old mother who loves to make tea, etc. and now she doesn't need to turn on the stove.

I have had this electric teapot for over a year. It delivers water quickly heated to the just before boiling stage, which is the excellent temperature for tea and coffee, without scalding. Press a side lever down to begin and the same lever pops up when the water is ready. If you do not leave water standing in it ... it will remain looking like new, without lime build-up. I highly recommend this excellent Cuisinart product, which are usually most dependable, well-designed and constructed. The cord is attached to the plate, thus, freeing your pot for use. A built-in themostat will keep your remaining water very warm for a few minutes longer, when you return the pot to the base or just pop the lever down again and it quickly reheats to the hotter level, in seconds. I would definitely buy another one, when this one wears out. For now, it still looks and performs like new. I love it!

I purchased this without THOROUGHLY reading the description and seeing it was a refurbished unit. Thus said, it was my fault. I would not have paid as much for this old unit and just gone ahead and purchased a new one had I read more thoroughly,
