This can opener looks great and works really well. The stainless steel matches all my other stainless. I would buy this product again. Thanks Overstock.

This is the second Cuisinart small appliance that we have puchased from Overstock.com and we are very pleased with the performance and the rugedness of them.

Poor quality, Not user friendly at all. Would hold the cans sometimes or not. Would open the cans sometimes or not. I did not send it back because I did not want to deal with the hassle and I kept thinking that maybe I was not positioning the can properly. Until one day a piece broke off.

I had purchased two can openers which did not open larger cans. While reviewing this item, it appeared to be a can opener that would finally satisfy my needs. Upon using the opener on different size cans, especially larger cans, this Cuisinart opener works extremely well. I know longer have a problem with the size of cans. I would have saved money by purchasing this opener from over stock sooner.

purchased as a Christmas Gift but the receipient told me it does not work. The gears seem to slip and grind will not operate correctly. I was embarrassed because it was a refurbished canopener and it did not work.The box and information was already in the trash not expecting it was flawd................I need to return but don't know how to reach the Service Area.

For the price this was an excellent buy. Works well and for the short time I've had it seems durable.It is simple to use and doesn't take up a lot of space. I would have preferred a new item, but this refurbished one is operating nicely.

Great piece to add to kitchen. Does the best job ever had with openers! Sleek & handsome, doesn't take up any room.

The refurbished item I received had oil leaking out of the bottom which cleaned up ok, but when trying to open a can.. forget it. Back it goes.

I purchased this opener as a replacement for a cheaper one I owned for some time and struggled with every day. It has proved to be exactly as I would expect from the Cuisinart name: reliable, sturdy and attractive.

This looks very sleek and works quite well and simply. It's a nice item to treat yourself with for not a lot of money. The cord stores inside, so you don't have to have a lot of cord out if you don't need to - just as much as you need. Nice Stainless finish.

As merely the man of the house, I haven't been the machine's primary user. At first I had reservations about buying "refurbished" but my wife, an avid thrift store shopper convinced me to give this can opener a try. That being said, my wife, the chief cook and can opener is very happy with the machine. It looks good on the kitchen counter and works well on intact can rims. Damaged rims pose a small problem, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure no can opener will do well on a damaged can. All-in-all I'd recommend this item to a friend. The 3-star rating on durability stems from my owning it only about a month, too soon to judge accurately.

What a good deal on this can opener. This replaces one that I had for 15 years...and I'm sure it'll be another 15 years before I have to replace this one!
